I still think you'll get the points you need at home to Palace, Brentford, maybe even Chelsea given how unpredictable they seem atm. Watford and Leicester away aren't fixtures to fear either. I did think though yous would've won that game last night.

Daniel Mann, vastly underrated commentator. Much prefer him to Drury.

I hate having to use them as an example to aspire to but Man Utd and Liverpool fans still sing old songs from the 70s and 80s and songs about players from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Wish we would do the same. -

Need to sort out our songbook, like. It's shit for the most part imo. Get a huge banner for Liverpool saying 'STOP SAYING TOON BETWEEN THE 'UNITED' CHANT PLEASE -
Some very decent posts throughout that thread. More so than most forums when it comes to Ashley.

Because I was checking a couple weeks ago if a manager has ever won manager of the season that wasn't at his club for the whole season.

Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

The difference between people in football like Howe and Bruce is that the former actively went out of his way to improve himself as a manager during his time after Bournemouth. Watching games and training sessions back, the trips to Spain to watch Simeone and Iraola, trip to Liverpool to learn from their recruitment people some mere examples. He then compiled a dossier of how to improve each of our players as well as probably some transfer targets, one of which has been Bruno. He's now, deservedly, reaping the rewards. And his work ethic and philosophy is clear to see in how he conducts himself in front of the cameras. Bruce is the antithesis of Howe, in every degree. Never went out of his way to see where things went wrong, never tried to improve himself as a coach. He'd just fly off to the West Indies to watch the cricket. I don't think he even wanted to be here at the start of this season, so he just tossed most training and fitness sessions off and hoped he'd get a big payoff from the sack, hence why he didn't walk away. He then tries to drum up sympathy for his own failure "abuse, been hard for my family, this is probably my last job". Then WBA came along and saw another club and fanbase to con into another payday. He's the absolute worst. -
I want to keep Bruno in for the greedy reason of just wanting to watch him again. I know he probably needs some R&R but he will be the best player on the pitch by a few lightyears again. Especially against this lot. Want us to well and truly beat someone and given the 3 games after this I don't see why we can't try and do that against these. 0-3.

He was called a 'bottler' and 'Pardhowe' for not starting him pre Everton.

Nah, he's just a cunt. Good footballer, but you'd be annoyed at 15/16 year olds playing Sunday league whinging like he does, the bloke's almost 30. Complaining to the ref and starting on opposition players for fine challenges because they dare try and win the ball. It was fucking pathetic.
-
I was more or less right behind it in the ground. Fell on top of the bloke in the row in front when it went in.
-
Those millions of stepovers in the first half was borderline Kenny Wharton sitting on the ball level showboating
-
What a bloody goal. Loved him going at it to that odious fucking cunt Zaha too, then stuck it top bins 1 minute later
-
Been very good last few games. Fair play to him.

About time we fucking beat this lot down there n'al. The last 2 times:
-
What a player he is. Unreal.
-
Great result, unreal goal, shit game. Take that all day. Tell you what, Palace have some right fucking cunts in their team. Zaha, Andersen, Gallagher. Rancid little fuckers.

Agree with the sentiments about the final game not being anything about cunts gone by and it much rather be something like this. Chelsea (h), May 2018, last game of the season. That was a brilliant display topped off by a bloody magical performance from the players. Took Chelsea apart that day with the sun beaming, one of my favourite games I've been to. -
Absolutely love the .com report from that game. https://www.nufc.com/html/1996-97html/1997-05-11forest-h.html

If I could experience any Newcastle season ever I'd pick the one that game was from, 93-94.
