Gouffran went from half decent between when he signed and the end of 13-14, to being symbolic of everything dreadful about the club between 2014 and the 2016 relegation to being half decent again in the Championship. Scored that goal as well as the volley at Derby. Also remember his shot that hit the bar at light speed at home to Brighton.

Pretty dreadful home record against these in the league. 2 wins since 1977 and couldn't find a video of the second one. So I've included the League Cup win back in 2016 as well as a great memory from last season.

A PL Monday night home game for the first time since December 2012 v Wigan.
-
It was his first start since 13 February tbf. His appearances have seen him in and out of the team for 7 games and he's only appeared in 3 of those, so he probably isn't fully up to sharpness and he needs minutes. Also nice to see the NUFC fathas are still against him and have quasi blamed him for yesterday when he contributed far more than any of the other attacking players on the pitch.

Seem quite a few who were there say this but the bold probably underlines how many of those with a high amount of loyalty points who are buying tickets for the point and selling them on. No way a sizeable percentage of those with over 50 points, which is what the game sold out at, is a Stone Island clad coke sniffing pint thrower that you've just described there.

This fixture is a 1-1 merchant and I'd probably take that tbh. Good for us to be back at SJP, should be a good atmosphere, gutted I can't make it. Be at Leicester though. HTL.

Posted in another thread, in the last 5 seasons 35 points would've kept you up. We can get 4 points, minimum arguably, from the next 4 games given how solid we've been at SJP under Howe and given how bad Norwich are. 7 from the next 4 would have us on 38 points which would've kept you up in each of the last 10 seasons.
-
Offer mutual terminations, loans out, paying a % of their wages and/or cut our losses in getting rid and sell really low. Gayle, Ritchie, Krafth, Almiron, Fernandez, Dummett, Lewis arguably and Hendrick all need to be moved on. I don't see Lascelles or Shelvey being sold this summer so, aye.
-
35 points would've kept you up in each of the last 5 seasons. So we need another 4. I think we should be aiming for 7 from the next 4 games which would see us on 38 points.
-
Yeah. That squad still needs demolition rather than surgery once safety is confirmed. Probably won't be able to do that, but so much of it is 3 or 4 years past its best and needs to be peddled.
-
Yep; Joelinton has been poor in the last 2 games. Burn was brilliant at Chelsea but harshly it was his loss of Havertz that cost us, same with him stepping out and being skinned by Iwobi at Everton. Today it looked like his head gone, had a shocker. Shelvey was very poor today. I understand why Bruno wasn't started today but bottom line is he's our best player atm. The winger situation is a bit of a conunudrum. ASM needs to be persisted with, he was better than Fraser though still poor by his standards. Murphy/Fraser is a poor, limited choice for the other side but needs must. Wolves will be tough to break down, they'll sit off and play on the break with their pace out wide and good technical quality from centre mid. Need to be moving the ball quickly and get SJP under the lights right behind the team, not that it wouldn't be anyway.

Canny interview from him regardless, helps that he's not a charlatan similar to some of his predecessors. 6 away games in our last 7 has probably taken a toll on us. 3 home games coming up, plenty opportunity to put today out of our minds and seal safety.
-
'Stick' is just a synonym of 'criticism', no? Not that it's that deep.
-
The first half we stayed deep and limited Spurs to nothing aside from the goal they scored. We matched Chelsea up before the break as well and we deserved a point at the least. He got it wrong today, evidently, because we've been beaten 5-1. That doesn't mean that I want him out or I'm belittling what he's done so far. I've been his biggest advocate and love what he's about, how he is as a manager etc. But today was shit. You're allowed to say that after a 5-1 defeat which was 1-1 at half time, can't you?
-
Yep, Spurs have far better players. The tactics we used in the second half of a high press, leaving space behind a defence not blessed with pace against Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Kulusevski et al is a poor tactical decision that I'm saying deserves criticism. If that's overreacting, then fuck me. He's made a titanic difference to this club and he's got us in a position where 4-7 points will see us safe. Today doesn't change that. You can say that today, a 5-1 defeat after taking the lead, was shit though.
-
I agree. But the tactical set up in the 2nd half was asking for a disaster. You can criticise that while still enormously appreciating the gargantuan difference he's made to us up to this point.
-
He deserves stick for today. The tactics in the 2nd half were akin to what Everton adopted and they conceded 5 to Spurs as well. I still love him and am 100% behind him. You can give criticism for shit performances whilst still being chuffed with him being in charge, you know.
-
Abysmal, pathetic 2nd half. Put it behind us and get looking forward to finally being back at SJP.
-
Promising 1st half followed by that shambolic 2nd. Got it wrong and deserves stick for it, still fully behind him though. Has to be getting at least 6 points from these 3 home games to see us safe.
-
Howe's got it wrong today and we've made bad errors for a few of their goals. Incredibly unhappy with the performance but we probably never really expected owt. Don't let anymore in, take it on the chin and move on.
-
I've no idea why we're using similar tactics to Everton that got them humped 5-0. The lot of them fully deserve the stick for this.
-
Joelinton's been poor, we've seen the best and worst of Schär and yellow cards all over the shop is asking for trouble.
-
Yep. It's what Everton did and they got walloped 5 nowt.
-
Completely fallen to bits. Shite.
-
Fucking crap.
