  1. Nunez SOT is evens on 365. Threw a tenner on.
  2. Aye. Guardiola even said after the game that he was unhappy with their performance especially in the first half. Just goes to show how absolutely tragic our defensive options were then.
  3. We were but the scoreline last season flattered them a bit imo. We should've had a pen but were cheated out of it by the cunt refs, 1-2 at HT would've made it a different game. Also remember us having good opportunities in their third to create stuff but the final pass or shot was just never there.
  4. Would be happy with him and Pulisic or CHO on loan. Can't see it happening though, seems like another lowball offer. Ramos and either Pulisic or CHO would be for the best for this place given the incessant arguing and shit takes.
  5. Nah Yorkie mate, he's shit. Bang average and no better than Wood. We should instead go for these players I've just watched compilations on YouTube of and had a glance at their FBRef stats that we're almost certainly not in for instead.
  6. He's 20 and would improve, as has every player at the club since Howe has come in. We need someone who can be second to Wilson then come in once he gets injured PLUS a wide player who can provide those said goals and assists from wide areas which likely will be a player from Chelsea on loan going off the media.
  7. We need a striker desperately and he fits the criteria of the kind of striker they've been looking for; young, potential and can be Wilson's understudy and ready to come in once he inevitably gets injured.
  8. Watford fans on Twitter saying they want £50m

    7th-ometer

We'll hardly be able to get the players, sponsors and incomes we want to progress by finishing 8th and playing Conference League football for the next 4 years. Players will look at more attractive options and we'll lose our better players to those options also. I think 7th is acheivable with the almighty if of being able to get 30+ games out of both Wilson and ASM which is inherently unlikely. Despite that, good additions in the forward areas make us good shouts for 7th and 6th imo but it simply has to be sorted. Football also doesn't work like this but given we're one of the so called 'other 14' atm, we play 26 matches home and away against those other clubs. Beat most of them at home i.e. 10 wins, get 5-6 wins and a few draws away we're looking at over 50 points without counting the 12 games against the top 6. Man City and Liverpool may well be write offs home and away but like fuck am I writing off games at SJP against the others, especially Man Utd atm. Mid 50s-low 60s points totals is achievable this season as long as we achieve one of the two above stipulations; one unlikely and the other one we have 2 weeks to sort out.
  10. How many times regarding Paqueta man I have not seen a single reliable source who covers us or transfers in general since the start of July (e.g Ornstein) say that we're in for Paqueta. If he was within our budget, wanted to come here and is someone Howe wants then surely he would've been signed by now. People need to move on. We won't sign him* and we're very very likely to not even be in for him and just because he's danced with Bruno on the pitch at Lyon a few times doesn't change that. *Wouldn't be unhappy if we did, mind.
  11. Souness talking about REAL MEN in the ENGLISH game. OUR league is not like those nancypants softie forrin leagues. Fuck me, man.
  12. He's an enormous WUM. Just ignore him. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the 4th coming of Penn/Bompeter/IMTTS.
  13. Aye, having a class game. Wasn't convinced by him last week v us but been really good today like.
  14. What the hell happened there
  15. Neco Williams has some cross/ball on him. 2 unreal ones played just now, unlucky.
  16. Something akin to what we played away at Chelsea last season I'd like to see. No idea why Howe never went back to that system against any of the top 6 after that game, we fully deserved a result and were fucking robbed. Manchester City are much better than Chelsea admittedly, but still. We're at home, hopefully the kick off time allows the crowd to have a few pints to make the atmosphere belting.
  17. Almirón was decent but he just isn't good enough. But the alternative options are no better or worse, need to sort that out in the coming fortnight.
  18. The managers have changed, the players have changed and some of the higher ups have changed at that club since Ferguson left. How Redknapp or anyone for that matter can argue that the primary common denominator and reason for that club's downfall isn't the owners I don't know. Provides box office viewing on Sky Sports I suppose
  19. He's rated highly as a coach. And aye, hence why I think he should walk. Doubt it though.
