  1. He's far better than our options behind a fully fit Botman & Schär but he just isn't a CB that truly elevates our starting XI. And certainly not worth over £60m.
  2. First goal for Blackpool under Stephen Roger.
  3. It's a PL record apparently but stats like that weren't collected league-wide until 2003-04.
  4. Think that ship has sailed. Schär being back should help massively with us progressing the ball from our own third. There were times certainly against Spurs where Pope had the ball under no pressure but was unsure on who to give it to. 2nd half mainly.
  5. The summer was an absolute failure and things clearly aren't hunky dory behind the scenes which has been gone over aplenty but Craig Hope has always been an obstinate pot stirring twat who loves the smell of his own shite.
  6. West Ham at SJP on a Monday night...
  7. 0-1, April 1990, Division 2. 1-3, September 1958, Division 1 0-1, May 1951, Division 1 0-2, March 1906, Division 1 1-3, November 1904, Division 1. We don't win there often.
  8. Jonas with a class goal and Ba with the final time we'd score from a corner for over 2 calendar years in a 1-2 win. October 2011.
  9. Can TNT Sports fuck off. The early kick off.
  10. Yep. We have consistently failed to use him correctly and get the best out him away from home. Especially last season and so far this.
  11. It's saving me a bit of money tbf. We have the nicer away fixtures (on paper) this side of Christmas. Vice versa with the home games. We know how good we can be at SJP (though we've not seen it yet this season in an admittedly tiny sample size) so I want to see a vast improvement in the level of performances away from home in this next batch of matches. We've been poor for far too long. Sort it out and we can have a really, really good season.
  12. Realised 4 of our next 5 games before the next international break in all competitions are away from home. The one home match being against Man City. Big opportunity for us to sort out being a competent football team away from the NE postcode.
  13. We didn't know what league we were going to be in for most of those first 6 months tbf. Money needed to be committed to keeping us up, or getting us up if we went down. I don't really know what's gone on with the feasibility studies, mainly because I haven't really been reading much about them mind.
  14. Cisse at Old Trafford in the League Cup. 6:34.
  15. Need a Colchester goal for 93 quid from 3 quid. Absewlewtly fewmin.
  16. Imagine being able to comprehend that by just reading the thread title. Wish I was brown bread.
  17. Nah, Star and Strawberry used to do them years ago but must've packed it in out of fear of getting done. You're going to be so disappointed by the standard here. Lush pints are very few and far between. Even Liverpool when I went down in the summer is/was another level compared to here.
  18. What year was this? Wondering if it's far back enough for the idea of me playing in this at the time being enough to lock people on here up for noncery.
  19. I'm in! For pints after. Too tight of a turnaround from Friday night/Saturday morning for me to play. Probably for the better I don't disgrace the hallowed turf of Powerleague Dunston after my last showing. Embarrassing stuff. Fat cunt.
  20. PSR is what clubs are claiming/hiding behind and people are gullible and/or thick enough to believe it. https://thefsa.org.uk/news/high-ticket-prices-are-not-the-answer-to-psr/ https://thefsa.org.uk/news/no-to-price-rises-football-has-a-spending-problem-not-an-income-problem/
  21. Helps PSR though, lads. That's what really matters.
