How's he not scored there? Isak is class.

Could have a 5 a side match in those technical areas.

Rafa had next to nowt to spend so the margin for error was so minimal. I remember a Rafa quote, can't remember when, which said that managers tend only get 80% of their signings right. He still made mistakes though. Sels was terrible and that was from the window where he was allowed to bring in whoever he wanted. Lazaar, Barecca, Muto all poor signings too given how many minutes they've played. He was wrong in letting Mbabu go too, should've let Janmaat go and bring only Yedlin in to compete with Mbabu for that RB spot in the Championship season instead of bringing in Jesus Gamez who barely played.

Game's gone flat. Get Sancho on. Ah wait. Southgate's a football terrorist.

From the friendlies v Romania and Austria the bloke looks like a walking mistake or red card.

Savage is such a cunt. Hope he gets ran owa.

The PL's statement. Just fuck off. Fuck it all. https://www.premierleague.com/news/2167982?sf246616763=1

A few standing questions though has me wondering how the deal could go through. The Saudis walked away didn't they? At least publicly. They coming back? Are Masters/the PL going to just be like 'yeah we'll approve the deal, cba for going through the courts, just put the money back on the table and we'll approve it'? Do the buyers not have to go through the O&D Test again? If the Saudis are involved with the question of who is actually running the club/PIF come up again and be a stumbling block again? Haven't bothered keeping up with this at all, as you can tell.

Someone begging for Twitter attention so will lead a few fans who are desperate for positive developments on. Refuse to buy any Twitter shit until official statements come out this time. Bitten far too many times.

Was it not the Wall Street Journal that broke the first news of the takeover? Was back in January 2020, like. Remember reading it in a uni lecture around about the time of that grim 0-0 draw at home to Oxford in the FA Cup. People understandably just brushed off until the news from last April broke.

Turns out it was Bamford. Ah well. Shame with all the booing of the taking the knee and the reputation that England fans have that thoughts went immediately to racism like, but hey ho.
-
Didn't sound like that like.
-
Thought it was just me. Couple of blokes near the camera chanting 'Paki bastards' wasn't it? England fans being racist cunts shocker.

Romania play decent stuff like tbf. Mings is poor.
-
Maybe. Meaningless goal v Leicester at home this season too. But those two the only contributions I remember though. Some return.
-
Won us the game v Southampton (h) in December 2019 in spite of not scoring tbf. That and the knockdown to Miggy his only actual contributions since his return tbh.

If Benitez had free reign and was in charge of us plus given the fact of the quality of player he was looking at while here (Fernandes, Dias) I'm sure that within a couple of seasons we're challenging Leicester, and probably in Europe. Without a doubt in my mind. Which is lightyears away from Bruce's ceiling and always will be.

Thing is, Edwards is such a gargantuan cunt and he doesn't even realise it. He's piped up after every good performance and/or result this season but after every AIDS inducing load of shit that's been served up he's either 'not seen it' or he's magically got COVID after the worst one of the season at Brighton and some comment him drinking wine like some sort of wanker. He's antagonising the entire fanbase due to their feelings about his mate, whilst he has had the privilege of actually going to see the games live. More than a year after any Newcastle supporters has been able to. He admitted in an interview or podcast that he enjoys getting a rise out of the fans with comments he makes. To top it all off he writes for a paper that has slandered people who have suffered and died from COVID, and acts in the interests of the political party that time and time again has shafted the North East. That he writes utter nonsense is just the cherry on top. He can fuck off. Hope Orient gan bust and he stops covering us in the very near future. Absolutely despise the bald cunt.

Have complete indifference towards Everton but they're proper weird when it comes to us, like some kind of mackem-esque hatred, its mainly online though. Know a few Everton fans irl and they're all canny. So bizarre.

I think given the start we had in 2011-12, and the fact that he allowed the purchase of Cisse in January when we were 6th or 7th in the table he did want us in the top 4 and I kinda buy the rumour that he was furious that we finished 5th and missed out on top 4 and CL money. By comparison look at 2013-14, we were 6 points off top on Boxing Day but did he allow investment in January? No, we sold our best player in Cabaye (who we've still not replaced to this day) and brought in Luuk De Jong on loan before the season tailed off with us getting battered regularly as it was job done; out of the cups and had ~40 points at the turn of the year. Pardew is also to blame for this btw, after the disaster that was 2012-13 he convinced Ashley, Llambias and a chunk of the fanbase that being in the Europa League was a bad thing.
