  1. This is true but also not the full story. The stats seem to suggest that he works really hard, does a lot of ‘take ons’ and wins the ball back a lot. That’s why I force myself to put up with how rare his genuinely brilliant moments are, he obviosuly contributes a lot to the team. He’s a really hard player to assess, especially in the context of our limitations and the other options in the squad. Like him a lot as a lad though. Aye fair enough, agree with that.
  2. A #10 and striker are top of the list imo. In terms of being allowed to get players like Almiron or Sensi (even though the latter is more of a CM), well, we all know the answer to that don't we.
  3. Issue is with Perez that he'll be frustrating as fuck for the vast majority of a game, being muscled off of the ball easily, losing the ball in awful areas, making the wrong decisions on counter attacks but then he'll pop up with a bit of a play and final pass like he provided to Joselu which he should've stuck away, or he'll score a vital goal as he did a few times in the back end of last season.

Including Man United (h) on the 2nd? Bad craic if true, the games that month are utterly rancid.
  5. I'm unsure tbh, it's had barely any publicity compared to the boycott and that mixed with recent form means they'll barely be any uptake. Still doing the Wolves boycott, mind. I think if people went in as usual before the game, and just watched first 10 mins in the concourse on the TV's, then go to seat, more people would do that, it's still the same visual impact. Aye, but it's not been pushed as that. Don't get me wrong, I want it to happen and want as many people doing it as possible but I can't see it. Especially off of the back of 3 wins and with the protest a week later getting more publicity. In addition to that, if both of these protests drop on their arse the MG's authority dwindles again. Unfortunately the form has come at the wrong time for these protests' sake.

In an ideal world, what would be top target in the transfer market in Jan? Number 10 or striker?

  8. Only thing he did wrong was standing still right next to the ball thinking a foul had been committed yet the referee hadn't blown his whistle and was waving play on. Was screaming at the TV.
  9. 4 on the trot hopefully. Usually do okay when they come up here so fingers crossed.
  10. What Disco said. Last season they conceded less than Watford, West Ham, Leicester, Everton and Bournemouth.
  11. Thought we made use of the ball very well last night. Fashioned more opportunities from open play. Think we've been looking at improving on the ball knowing we're a side that won't have the lion's share of possession in games. Ki has helped with this enormously.
  12. Yeah pretty solid tonight, throwback to some of his top performances in the Championship, topped off with a goal. Good stuff.

Liking him. Touch of class when on the ball.
  14. I thought we were great for the first 35 minutes of each half, played some really nice stuff at times and were immensely comfortable defensively. When they put the pressure on it was unbearable though. West Ham next. Howay.
  15. Why do we do this, this hanging on shite. I fucking hate it. Been good so far though. Hope Perez scores to shove it up the patriots.
  16. Came on last 10-15 minutes vs Bournemouth when we reverted to 5-4-1 to close the game out.
