Barnes against West Ham at home in March 2024 was a winner that came in the 90th minute, albeit not stoppage time. For a stoppage time winner you'd have to go back to March 2023, Isak's penalty away at Forest.

However in this decade, that poker playing, weird sounding nonce that owns Brighton helped buy them out and they've had an enormous resurgence. They won the title last season, ending a 90-year drought and now compete in the Champions League/European Cup for the first time in their history. Their fans are apparently known for their progressive and inclusive values, often promoting anti-fascist and anti-racist ideals to the point where "Anti-Fascist Unionist for Life" is the unofficial motto of the club and they've had tussles with Belgian police for displaying banners as such. LAST TIME OUT? We've never played them before, so there isn't one. Don’t think anyone has said it’s all on Howe tbh. The Anfield Rat is massively to blame, but I’d have hoped he’d have had a better attacking game plan in the second half than hoofing it in Elanga’s general direction.

Spent £55m on him. Shouldn’t be getting left on the bench and having hoofs directed in his general direction as our main attacking play when he’s on the field.

Since we beat Palace 5-0 we’ve been hopeless in attack home and away.

3 wins in our last 12 PL games. The 3 against Wolves, a 10 man Chelsea and Ipswich.

Our attacking play since the Palace 5-0 win has been utterly lifting.

Punished for offering absolutely fuck all going forward for the entire second half. Our attacking play is absolutely pitiful.
