He suffered from Bruce's 11 behind the ball tactics. He was always panicking in the congestion. But with a bit of space in front of him he is a lot more composed.

That's dinner, dinner, dinner.

I'd be relatively confident that Howe could convince those he wanted, to come. It's whether the owners are prepared to pay what it takes. i see no reason why they wouldn't.

Jolene, Jolene Jolen-een Jolee-ee-een. Please don't shoot even though you can.
-
Gonna score a screamer against Leicester now.
-
Yeah. I'm sure it was part of the plan to not press too much, too early. We're looking in better physical shape but we still need to be careful as a lot of our players are fragile as anything.

He might have put on a fake voice for the open mic nights. do you mean comedy open mic, or a more general thing? Did he do slam poetry?

I think it's a case of ASM learning how to use himself. When to give the simple pass and when he is needed to do something special. I think this will develop as the team improves and we begin to take shape. He's still quite young and has been the star turn for two seasons. Time to knuckle down and improve his understanding of the game. Not a criticism of him, I hope he'll grow into a more responsible player in the next couple of years, without losing any of the magic.

Are we talking 'Hey Jude' or 'na na hey hey kiss him goodbye'?
-
Erm, I don't think that's acceptable, these days, either.

Q1 I'm 1 and 4. I'd like them to leave the tacky shite on a board that cam be wheeled about in front of camera and leave the architecture as architecture. But I know that they own the club and will do whatever they like.

He lost a game of cards and his forfeit was to buy either us or Derby County.

Save your love, my darling. Save your love.

Newcastle United vs. Burnley: 4/12/21 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

The only thing I've noticed [besides his cross for ASM's goal] was his reluctance to bust a gut to get into the box at the far post. Could be due to his injury history, but it's something we could do without. -
I suspect that is in case he scores. It's strapping to protect his wrists when doing somersaults.
-
Started over, like everybody else, with a clean slate. One tick so far.
-
We nearly scored the first time he fell over, nice to know it's something we worked on.
-
Aye. Tommy Huthinson scored two cracking headers in the original game.
-
I'm sure this is how it always used to be. All gentlemanly conduct, showing respect and appreciation, until it mattered. Then mortal enemies until the final whistle. Just another element of the humour that is gone from the game. Too many sensitive fuckwits with no clue about human behaviour. God knows what people would make of 'Slapshot' these days.
-
I've refrained from blaming him for the 3rd because of this, but I can't help feeling he "could" do better.
-
Aye, because Bruce's priority was to reward the fella that saved his job.
-
Just hope we don't nick a point against Arsenal because 5 points is impossible from two games. I'm pretty sure that those predictions considered we'd get nowt in December. It's a bit stupid to predict the outcomes of the next 7 games. We're patently aware how awful we are, and we know why. The question is how much can we improve.
-
Then we lose the extra man in attack. For all Willock influenced very little, his presence was enough to give more space for Joelinton and ASM.
-
It is. But at least we saw today that they still have that effort in them. If it has to be like Keegan's first stint as manager, so be it.

Thought he was just rolling his 'r' in a very Scottish manner.
