Good post, I agree with Decky here. It maybe ok for those who want to see football return to a pre premier league era but Southampton vs West ham being a big game in said hypothetically situation doesn’t exactly get pulses racing. Theyd be well compensated for so long till that leagues now bigger teams say "its us the public want to watch, those at the top not you" and then cut them off. As for Southampton West Ham not setting pulses racing. Neither would a mid table clash between Spurs and Marseilles in a league I have no interest in. Not even for the Chris Waddle montage?

By advertising hundreds of games, £60 per month comes over as a real deal, even if most games aren't watched. 38 games for £60 per month is not a good deal. The added costs of advertising each channel individually, the added commentary teams and pundits. The 20 clubs currently promote the brands of the PL, FA, and the broadcasters. None of them are going to reverse that relationship.

Wonder what the break even figure is on broadcasting a match on PPV.

Exactly. I know the difference between there, their, and they're. But sometimes I'm not spelling every word that comes into my head so I'll maybe type there [when referring to their pedantry, or if they're simply being a pain in the arse] and it doesn't bother me. Actually that's not true, it must bother me because I often correct it, if I notice as I'm typing, but I'm not going back three words to satisfy their perverted cravings. However. "Would of could of should of" can get tae fuck.

What has being black got to do with anything I’ve said? Bizarre post. He only scored 3 and made 5 assists in 26 league games last season, so that ruins your second point too. Not sure it does. He gained consistency towards the end of the season and he's carried it into this season. I'm not sure that's true, mind. Just a possibility. As far as I remember everybody was shite after the break.

Not sure what you're getting at here? I mean he agrguably plays at the top level now PL, and he's just played really well for England. We'll be wasting a talent if Southgate goes down this pass. It's his job to fit him into the team. It's not like. It is. Any other country would, you don’t just shun talent like that. We’ve been doing it for years and then going “how come we don’t produce players like ‘insert country’. We do sometimes. We need to use them It's the implication that he's not doing his job if he doesn't fit Grealish into the team. He's doing his job to the letter. You may think he's doing it wrong, but you don't employ him. Maybe you could buy the FA and make that his prime objective. But it sounds to me that he had a good game so I find a tad obsessive to criticise Southgate's handling of his introduction to international football.

Seems a waste of time. If you didn't get it by reading the post you probably never will.

Ooh straight on the offensive, ignoring the point entirely. I bet you've only got amazon prime for the next day delivery.

Maybe if the mugs hadn't kept the gravy train going for the past 30 years their expectations would be different.

It’s not pretentious at all, it’s pretty basic stuff. It is pretentious. Online chat is a substitute for face to face chat. Nobody's labouring over letters to be read on your morning walk of the grounds. If you spot the error you are clearly capable of understanding the intent. So just get on with it.

It might have done him good. i don't know much about the lad but a lot of people seem to think he's a bit of a cunt. Getting picked earlier might have made him too big for his boots. He would have probably left Villa to sit on a bench somewhere, or go back to the championship. on loan. Instead his development has been uninterrupted. I seem to remember Southgate being keen for young uns to complete their under 21 duties, before being promoted, is that still the case?

Only £100. Pathetic. He could have withdrawn up to £300. Already withdrew that earlier to help out a prosser that was feeling the cold. Got her a room for an hour, I hear.

Ba get = baguette I didn't spot that one. Couldn't be more cross and angry with myself. Proves I need to pay more attention.

Is this a bread joke?

Get the Focaccia here Doubt we'll ciabatta bread based joke than that one.

Don't dirty your hands with such rumours.

Pure bollocks. I can think of one bad game he has had. Every game he plays hes either our best player or one of our better players. It just seems an easy thing to say about a flamboyant winger. Yup, lazy analysis. I mean, read through this thread yourself and there are numerous examples of his poor games. When I finish work I’ll drag them up. He's been brilliant for us in 2020 By his own admission: Also posts in this thread just before the Oxford (h) game where he was poor home and away against Chelsea. He was dreadful this season against Brighton during his short cameo. Arsenal away, Crystal Palace away he was quite poor. As people have pointed out there’s a clear correlation between him underperforming and us not getting results. But to blindly say he’s a top 4 player and hasn’t been inconsistent at times is a load of bollocks and looking at him through tinted glasses. He was lambasted for having no end product for the first half of the season where he wasn’t getting goals or assists. He’s a great player but not top 4 quality yet, but he has all of the potential to be. Don't you need to be inconsistent all of the time to be considered inconsistent?

Newcastle United 3-1 Burnley - 03/10/2020 - post match from p19

I'll be surprised to see us get 3. And I don't even know who we're playing. But it's not Burnley, WHam, Burnley,, Wham, Burnley. -
The comparison is that he scores goals for Barca. Well obviously that's true. I'd say a lazy comparison is fair enough, but to say it's racism is ridiculous. I concur.

Happens here as well, no? I don't think it's necessarily racist, is it? I mean.... can you imagine if good black players were constantly being compared to only (or mostly) good white players? It's as if to say that the likes of Weah, Drogba, etc are not good enough (to be compared to) and that a good black player should be compared to a good white player. It's lazy it's not racist. However laziness will always lead to accusations as there are many people that are prepared to put in the effort.
