  1. Well I don't think Gayle got 4 chances that often. I'm not sure we, as a team, created 4 chances per game.
  2. Dwight does that fine The finish at the end of it? Not so much How many chances did Wilson get today? Genuine question, I haven't seen it yet.
  3. Early days but if the new signings can settle as quickly as Cabaye and Ba did, then it could be a similar season. Prepare for the media love-in with Brucey.
  4. He's been solid. Made a couple of mistakes very early on, and lost out to Lejeune and Schar. Then I seem to remember him making a mistake in his first game back, but since then he's never let us down.
  5. If there's one game I will give Bruce credit it's in a game against Moyes. Can't stand the miserable twat. I'll give him credit if he changes the team for the next game and gets a similar outcome.
  6. We've won 2-0 away from home, in our opening game, with Carroll up front. We've yet to utilise our full arsenal of talent and still have an element of surprise, still to come. Not giving credit to Bruce, but it couldn't have gone better, really.
  7. We seem to have quite a nice balance. we can get it quickly to the front two, or we can move it about in midfield, and [once Dubs returns] we're relatively solid at the back I'm at a loss as to how Bruce can fuck it up.
  8. Haven't seen any of the match but it sounds like there is plenty to the give the pundits an excuse to wax lyrical about Bruce.
  9. Huge contrast between the first and second halves from Hendrick It's still a bit embarrassing to be slating players less than 45 mins into their debut.
  10. Is Almiron unfit like? Why would you ever start with Carroll and leave him out? Bringing Almiron on for the last 30 isn't completely crazy.
  11. Sorry but lets be honest he's yet to prove he is a player of any description. He's got the confidence to walk out in front of 50,000 with a granny perm.
  12. Why doesn't he just talk football, then? Because he loves his incendiary rhetoric BS, he loves to press buttons then cry victim when he gets his well earned abuse, the guy is a parody clown of a man-child. And people press the buttons he wants them to press, obviously.
  13. The way you've worded that seems to imply that they weren't advertised as such, in which case anybody has a right to complain.
  14. Players do tend to want to play, like. Sure, not being in the team will have a bearing on his situation, just like any other player. Bloke has settled in nicely and is probably the most important midfielder we have. No need to wet your knickers over what he might do in the future.
  15. Issac Stayden. Isaac Staydown, more like.
  16. A good journo doesn't start with "My view, for what it's worth" Should’ve added a disclaimer that there are no good journos, but he’s one of the better ones. A bit like choosing between your favourite episode of diarrhoea. A bit like saying my hamster is the best unicorn.
  17. Same here. They also moved the goalposts re: arbitration. If PL had rejected the bid outright, PIF could have taken that to arb. However, PL said, in effect, "well if you don't like this decision, take to arb". PIF saw this as part of the delaying tactics where each individual decision gets reviewed piecemeal rather than in total. This is the point where PIF said they're out. Just speculation on my part. Nah PIF said they were out when they realised they couldn't pass the test without taking it.
  18. He's clearly been told by Staveley that it's done now......clearly PIF don't fancy another round of humiliations from the PL by appealing the decision. The fat lady has sung. Was it Jo, or Katy?
