There’s a scenario where we could due to the amount of English teams in Pot 1, but it’s particularly complicated, and as we haven’t even qualified yet, I’ll hang fire in trying to investigate it.

Not sure you can play more than one team from the same country? Or is it no more than two from the same? Would have to check. Although probably best leave all that until we’ve actually qualified….😬

I suspect so, as it’s projecting them winning it, so therefore I would expect it to include the correct coefficient for that projection occurring. Not totally sure like.

The whole ‘getting a team from the same country’ rationale is extremely blurred. It seems it comes down to whether a point in the draw ever reaches ‘deadlock’ i.e can’t be avoided. It would take someone far cleverer than me to work out the various scenarios of that occurring, but I don’t think it’s a given either way as to whether we get an English team, regardless of how many are in Pot 1.
