  1. Someone’s gonna have to explain the logic behind this being OK, but if we’d charged folk two quid to come and watch it, it wouldn’t have been OK?

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Not quite true on Isak. It was out the blue in terms of the deal being agreed, but we had been credited with strong interest by Baldwards and others in the months before, even if it all seemed fairly tenuous at the time. If anything, the Tonali deal was more of a shock than the Isak one, as it went from 0-100 much quicker.
  4. Basically, if you’re successful in the ballot, there’s now a 48hr window (opens Friday 10am for Southampton) where you have to access the site and individually select your seat(s). If you don’t go on and select in that 48hrs you lose your ticket (but aren’t charged for it). Subsequent to this there’s then the members general sale for all remaining tickets (Wed 31st 10am for Southampton). This will be for all tickets not claimed, all ST holder resales and any seats not originally in ballot. We think this general sale will probably have more seats in initially than it did last season, but it’s still probably going to be difficult to get one through that. Although guess we won’t know this for sure until after the whole process for Southampton has finished.

Before we sign him can we just check he’s not sat behind Enzo Fernandes on that bus video giving it big racism licks. Could do without him getting a 10 month ban by September.
  6. Try accessing via the link in the email (if you received it)
  7. If the whole 10am thing doesn’t work for you, I’m sure someone off here would help you out. I’ve mentioned this before, but if I wasn’t a ST holder, I’d be looking to team up with a few members off here to try and maximise my chances of getting tickets.
  8. I suppose it means you have a greater chance of being stuck with them. It’s hard to know exactly how it will play out until we see how it goes the first time.
  9. Yeah, ultimately I think you’re probably right in that it’s giving the majority what they asked for, but you’re probably going to see more (understandable) whinges along the lines of “I’m 0 out of 14 this season, these ballots are shite”.
  10. If they go that safe, surely that then impacts people’s ballot success chances, in comparison to last year? For many on here though, it would probably be a good thing, as they would rather a larger Member general sale, as (massively generalising here obvs) they are more likely to do what they can to be available for the 10am opening, and may well be more likely to be aware of any ‘advantages’ that could be obtained one way or another in the queue system.
  11. Yeah, I can see the logic there. You’ll still probably get cases of groups not being together and occasionally that might cause a problem, but as long as the numbers are small, most people would probably say that’s fair enough to give the vast majority what they asked for in terms of picking their own seat.
  12. I’m not convinced that come the weekend we won’t see a load of (alright maybe not a load, but some) disgruntled parents on SM complaining that they can’t use their ballot win cos they can’t get enough seats together. Hopefully you’re right though and there’s enough thought and planning gone into it so that’s not the case.
  13. Hmmm, perhaps. But that probably means people can expect to average an even lower ballot success rate than last season (if there’s slightly less seats available in the ballot, and membership numbers are roughly the same).
  14. You probably don’t HAVE to choose seats next to each other, but I’m intrigued to know how they handle the example in that tweet, where someone’s got kids and there’s no seats for them left to sit together.
  15. Yep, this is the exact reason I questioned how they could allow people to pick their own seats. Hopefully they’ve got something in place to cover this, otherwise I can see it blowing up come the seat selection window.
  16. Hurt his knee as a result of a bad tackle apparently. if you’re gonna choose to play Millwall in pre-season….

If he starts the season in the team and performs at a similar level to the back end of last season, I’d say there’s a reasonable chance he’s in squad for the September matches.
  20. I thought Level 7 was the Family section?
  21. Is that excluding family section / Level 7?
  22. Don’t cross the road mate, you might get hit by a car.
  23. It makes financial sense because, whatever the fee, it’s made the potential PSR breach go away.
