Likewise, implies he's just saying let's complete. Yep, that's absolutely the way it reads. Unfortunately people have been bitten and let down on so many occasions with this kind of s*ite, there's an (understandable) refusal to accept it will happen.

It is in the sense that with the people allegedly involved, the 'proof of funds' business simply isn't an issue.

Surely £340m is pretty close to him ‘winning’. Surely. Please. If they’re as rich as they say they are they what’s another £20m? Hopefully it was originally £320m and he’s already pulled that one. Just blind hope really.

From Dan Roan, who’s pretty credible. If the stuff is coming from his own, rather than re-hashed, sources, can only be good I would say.

Newcastle United v Oxford United 25/1/2020 FA Cup 4th round

If he played half a team and we didn't win there'd be absolute hell on man. -
Was he not injured by Calvert-Lewin's tackle?

Add to that Fernandez's contract is up in the summer, and Clark's the year after. Difficult to argue that Fernandez isn't worth at least another short-term contract, although he is on reasonably big wages. Clark's performances have been worth another one too, although his injury record would go against him.

Hope you both enjoy it. I’m sure he will. Now that you’ve put your (understandable) grievances to one side, remember that you’re allowed to enjoy it too. Mike Ashley doesn’t benefit either way from you having an enjoyable day (unless you decide to go back again, but that’s a discussion for another day). -
As stop gaps go, he's considerably better than Barreca. Who else do Spurs have? Think Davies (injured) and Sessegnon would be two that you would think would be LB/LWB, but not sure if he's been using Vertonghen or maybe even Aurier or that new fella?

Jetro Willems (now playing for Deportivo Castellón)

Not sure that's a win win for Frankfurt mind... It guarantees them £7.5m if he returns at a similar level and stays fit. If he doesn’t we are paying his wage for a year. The alternative is that he goes back to Frankfurt and his value will depreciate as it will be hard to take a risk on him with that injury. If he doesn't come back the same player (and fingers crossed he does) though, and he doesn't meet the required number of games, they are then left with a player who's value has dropped significantly. If i'm Frankfurt, i'm pushing for the deal to carried through on the price agreed, now or in the summer. Try and get us to take the risk on his fitness. -
Where is that from? Lolol On a canny wedge according to this: https://www.capology.com/club/schalke-04/salaries/

Everton vs Newcastle United Tuesday 21st January 2020 (KO: 7.30PM, no TV)

I'm not sure the latter is much of a miss. Slows everything down for them. Been terrible for them this season when I've watched them. Seems to have played the vast majority of games though, which suggests he either hasn't been as bad as we think, or they don't have much to replace him with. -

No Richarlison or Sigurdsson is a help like. -
He's been kept out by two separate managers though hasn't he?
-
Seems like we’ve ditched our ‘no dickheads’ policy then...
-
Yep, midweek and no replays.
-
Vegan apparently. Not sure that’s particularly relevant to anything but the first NUFC player (that I know of) to ‘come out’ as Vegan.

Why? Edit - Ah, you’re probably referring to the response rather than what Douglas said.

I think that’s a very harsh assessment of what he’s said. His last tweet is actually “they’re not out of it by any stretch...” He’s probably looking at it optimistically, but I think the point he’s trying to make is that there’s often wild overreaction on Twitter, to a couple of good wins or a couple of bad losses. Which is true, although hardly groundbreaking news.

 Two of the least convincing finishes I've ever seen in my life. If you haven't already seen them...just have a look There was one of them, the one-on-one, that was either the best or worst (scoring) finish I've ever seen. Almost certainly the latter to be honest. Did Courtois up a treat though.
