96/97 Shearer untouchable IMO. Albeit with all the difficulties in comparing eras etc.
-
I was told it was an attempted burglary.
-
Would be good to get to ‘Goodison under the lights’ before they move.
-
The promo shoot looks like it was done between the Sheff Utd and Burnley games (based off Eddie doing the results board in the Strawberry), which would coincide with Trippier training in Dubai.
-
Appreciate it’s easy to say when not buying one, but don’t waste your time pissing about in queues now. Just buy one tomorrow.
-
Bruce knew full well the name of ‘the bloke’. I’m sure @southernmag genuinely can’t remember the Japanese blokes name. Aye he could have Googled it, but the disrespect isn’t on the same level.
-
Just had a quick swizz on Capology on it’s got 12 of them down as 100k+. Some notable ones on less like Palmer and Gusto, but I reckon if you’re being bought for £60m+, your agent is probably trying to get you up towards the top end of the squad wage-wise. *Sterling down as £325k, wow
-
How’s that gonna work when the majority of the squad are already on fortunes?
-
Probably chuck even more wages at him
-
Smokescreen season is upon us.
-
Is Nick Pope in this list?
-
Aye, Raphinha reportedly on £200k p/w. We’d struggle to match that.
-
Yeah, it could well be tbf. But it could have any number of conditions attached, selling within a certain period, country of club being sold to etc.
-
Also, given the queue situation last season, doing anything that will potentially worsen that would not go down well.
-
ID checks at home games will go down well 😬😬
-
They’re probably trying to cover whatever Man City’s sell on clause is.
-
Downside could be that everyone would just start applying for all games and passing tickets on if they couldn’t go, to ‘get the points’. So might inadvertently make getting a ticket harder.
-
Yes, perhaps make sure they’re recording all the data (sure they are now) and perhaps at the end of next season they’ll have enough to make it viable.
-
I do agree with the principle of that. The obvious problem is that whether you get to a game now is as much due to luck as it is ‘loyalty’. It would, as you say, make it a lot more difficult for away fans to get tickets, so that would be a positive, however how it plays out amongst the home support, giving one fan a potential advantage over another, just because they’ve been luckier in ballots, I’m not sure.
-
Tbf we don’t yet know if the ballot is definitely remaining the same. You could be able to pick seats somehow, for instance. *No, I won’t be holding my breath either…
-
So absolutely no ticketing benefit according to that.
-
No chance they’ll be capped again. They could, as people on here have suggested, create a cut off point for when they have to be purchased by, but that’s about as far as they’d go I reckon.
-
Yeah, but given they haven’t even announced what’s happening with that yet it would seem unlikely they’d instigate a waiting list for it now.
