Yeah, assuming all has gone well I reckon he might make the bench by Everton/Spurs.
-
Tbf, he’s been fully back from the injury for 6 months now. If it’s still an issue, it would be #worrying
-
Ah, I wondered why they seemed to be struggling with seeing stuff clearly! Also thought that Sanchez had saved Trippier’s free kick.
-
He’s been away with the U21’s the last couple of weeks, but regardless you’re still probably right about getting him to play the Burn role. That graphic doesn’t lie.
-
Agree. The chaos that would be caused in trying to put 200/300 ST up for sale, just isn’t worth it. Unless they put them in a ballot…
-
Pretty sure there won’t be any more ST’s sold until after any expansion, and even then I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t offer any additional. ~35k ST’s out of 52k is pretty high I believe. Certainly higher than the likes of Liverpool.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
SteV replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Aye, folk going mental cos they’ve paid 400 quid to see Dummett and Kraft at centre back. edit - actually Kraft’s not eligible is he? Dummett and Alex Murphy then. -
That last bit is nub of the problem when demand vastly outstrips supply. I don’t necessarily disagree with the point, but I think we have to recognise it’s a very fine line for the club to tread on this particular subject. Maybe they’ve gone a bit too far one way in making it absolutely random as to which members get tickets, but they were getting pelters last season (probably a bit unfairly) about it being a ‘closed shop’, so they can’t win.
-
But the old system is just a de-facto ballot, albeit with significant advantage to those who are somewhat IT-savvy? I think people would find it a lot more frustrating than they did last season given the apparent massive increase in member numbers, which would result in it becoming a lot more difficult to get a decent queue number (IT-related advantages not withstanding).
-
No, but they get blamed for everything anyway, so probably just add it to the list.
-
Apart from, bizarrely, when Brighton had that other Paraguayan, and Miggy was gonna knock him out ?
-
The guy (Nick somebody) who was on the Lineker/Shearer podcast, a journalist who covers this kind of thing, seemed to think there was no chance of it being overturned, but perhaps a chance of it being reduced.
-
You can take the horse to water… Having said that, with the ballot system, you probably are going to get people who are going for the first time using digital tickets, so a little bit understandable. Still mind, if it was my first time using it, I’d probably get there early.

Hamstring. Manager didn’t sound particularly optimistic about it afterwards.
-
? Right, I’m gonna give it a go.
-
Can anybody actually confirm this? I’ve heard it numerous times, but never from someone who’s actually tried a different turnstile to what they’re supposed to. Would be a very handy thing to know if it is true.

Harrison Ashby’s 125/1 to score from outside the box with 365
-
No, don’t know any details
-
Yes. Nothing in the public domain (that I’ve seen), but, yes, that’s what it was.
-
Wouldn’t say so. I actually think Luxembourg might be the best team overall, but obviously Georgia have Kvaratskhelia, who’s head and shoulders above any other player in the four teams. Even then though, Greece and Kazakhstan probably fall into the ‘well-organised’ category, so wouldn’t be surprised by any of them making it through.

Unless he knew he was going to be burgled, I suspect not…
-
Common knowledge that his house got burgled isn’t it? As @lovejoy mentioned the other day
-
Yeah, fair enough, it’s not on field. I still don’t think it’s the same level as club ownership though.
-
Dicey road to go down IMO. Where do you draw the line? Whatever the rights and wrongs of this, it’s still a sporting sanction. The punishment is football-related. If a team ends up getting relegated off the back of a terrible VAR decision, for example, do we want their MP raising it?
