Newcastle United 1-4 Manchester United - 17/10/2020 - post match from p18
Keggy_Keagal replied to Disco's topic in Football
Awful , no pressure on the ball or on the Manchester United back line. They've just had a hiding get after them at the bare minimum. How anyone can argue that Joelinton brings anything to the side at the moment is beyond me. Why's he in ? Why not Almiron or Fraser ? What's he done to justify that selection ? Putting him on the right is woeful for the player as well from Bruce. -
Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

Have we stuck in a release clause ? It's an old tactic , nothing we can do to keep the player he wanted to go etc etc -
If anybody uses Skybet opt in to the offer and bet 5p on Liverpool vs Everton and get a £5.00 free bet.

Could have sworn in the first half of the Spurs game Hayden (again) was saying to Bruce it wasn't working and Bruce said something along the lines of we'll look at it at half time.
-
Let's say he is encouraging it . Doesn't mean he's able to implement it.
-
It's going to get shut down isn't it ?
-
Andy's so slow that he probably hasn't actually finished signing his name yet so the club could still get out of this .
-
The problems today weren't Callum Wilson's fault.
-
It's in everybody's interests to get this lad playing well again. Get him out on loan for a season to a more progressive coach and then see if this shit situation can be salvaged.
-
They should have had Roy Keane on for post match .
-
He's not up to it or up for it . He's languid, doesn't work for the team and has no feel for the position he's been signed to play. He was clean through against Blackburn twice last night one went straight at the keeper and the other he went down far too easily. Yes, it's bruceball and yes, the transfer is dodgy as (smells of when players were signed to do favours for agents) but based purely on the football this lad's had a full season here and looks completely lost and disinterested.

Good work !

Such a difference having a striker who instinctively gets into dangerous positions .

I'm not watching it, but I'll guess... Steve Howey. I recall howey sounding much dopier than this fella It's Don Hutchison. I'm not watching it, but I'll guess... Steve Howey. I recall howey sounding much dopier than this fella I've done an internet search and it could Danny Higginbottom former Mackem and tit. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_on_NBC Think it's Don Hutchinson ? should probably have kept reading the thread before posting! We've all done it, nee bother. Having to endure Owen on the half time on some Aussie stream.

A bit different since Owen refused to do it while still a Newcastle player, Fraser wouldn't sign an extension to keep playing after his contract was up. Important distinction but still shithousey by Fraser. No fan of Jordan btw (be that simon, eddie or the slag). But not Michael Jordan who to be fair is a mixed bag. I do like Michael's ability to completely invent stuff to motivate himself.

Fraser essentially did to Bournemouth what Owen did to us. Struggling in a relegation fight and refusing to play out of pure self interest.

Footballers are often a superstitious bunch.

Not sure in the wisdom of a fella who's had two acl's and only scored 7 goals whilst being relegated choosing number 13 .

Whenever there's any speculation of us actually bidding against other clubs for a player I just get the Keegan talk in flashing through my mind. Where Keegan goes to llambias and Jimenez and says if we bid £1.25 million for Hyypia we get him. Then Hyypia calls Keegan saying "what's going on they've offered £500'000".

Thought someone on here said it was a done deal that he was going to Man Utd I think he changed agents to the same as Solskjaeer and Manchester United made overtures in the January window, so a lot of the rumours are on the back of that .

As others have said squad player who can do a job, don't see him getting in above Shelvey and Hayden tho. Could well indicate the bye bye for Matty Longstaff mind.
