  1. That could have been any number of away games from last season. Very happy to see we still have that kind of performance in us. Doubly impressive with Rafa not being there to guide them through it. We've got a very honest group of lads.
  2. Two wins on the bounce and it's time for experiments?
  3. Aye, it is that. Mine arrived this morning. Pure buzzing.

Complicit then Hardly that, either. Is he still on the board? If so, he's there in a glorified ambassadorial role. What is his contribution to Ashley's decisions/strategy?

Traitor is a bit much, mind. He's employed by the club, of course he's not going to publicly criticise his boss. Privately, I'm sure he's of a very similar opinion to the rest of us.
  7. I don't think it will be, barring an injury crisis. Admittedly, it won't be anywhere near as good as it could have been. But, Saturday showed that there's some shite in this league that we won't have too much trouble turning over.
  8. We'll hear from him well before then.
  9. While I don't doubt that he'll leave us at some point sooner than he'd planned, I certainly won't be hoping for him to walk now.
  10. Mbemba has started the last two games there. He had no future here. Anyway, not the time for rational thought, I appreciate.
  11. We're looking a bit light on number 10s wholly unsuited to English football now. Hoping for some late movement on Praet.
  12. Don't think Bolton would mind that too much.
  13. Spun as him wanting to fight for his place, no doubt. Hasn't it already been 'spun' as him/his young family not wanting to leave the area. Hardly the worst reason.
  14. Or, say, by 11pm tomorrow? Still very, very uneasy about all of this.
  15. I've never owned a company car, but I imagine its better than say leasing one or on hire purchase? No insurance or maintenance costs, but it's not as big a saving as it once was. Tax is based on emissions and list price, so the bigger/better the car, the smaller the gap. Government is bumping up private fuel benefit all the time as well. But yeah, football. Goals and throw ins.
  16. Doesn't quite work like that, mind. The tax on them isn't cheap, although admittedly less than owning the car outright.
  17. Fun though isn't it I'm not sure that's the word I'd use.
  18. Well, if we do end up keeping him, his mental state isn't exactly going to have improved.
  19. Aye that's Siem you dafty. Thanks. It was in reply to Stan.
