Fucking hell, man. What a guy. Nobody could have faulted him for walking away from this absolute fucking mess, but here he is. Hope the ground is fucking rocking tomorrow for this man.
-
But it... it's right there.
-
Good words. Seems a lot more relaxed than is portrayed.

We NEED to sell because we've got far too many players...far more than you can register. No club in the country would continue buying players without shifting their deadwood. We are no different in that respect. We are very different in other respects like, but shifting players on before we bloat the squad even more is massively important. so naive man. How many players do Chelsea have, about 40 thousand or something int it? Loan shite like Haidara out and pay half of their wages if we have to. How is that naïve? It's absolutely right, and probably the reason Rafa isn't kicking off. He knows the squad needs to be trimmed. It's easy enough to say we should be doing these deals as favours to other clubs, but if there's interest there for a permanent deal, then why not explore that option? The squad needs to be trimmed, it also desperately needs another 4 or 5 players of Premiership quality. I'll let you decide which is more important. Well that certainly strikes me as the more naïve perspective on managing the squad. I think it's obvious that Rafa is of the more sensible opinion.

Is it not some convoluted way of saying Loan Deal that will become a permanent one? You tell me. Fuck am I trying to second guess that tit.
-
Ryder's story starts saying we're looking to sign permanently, and finishes with a paragraph about us looking to close the loan deal.
-
Is that right? I'm sure a lot of the feedback from their fans was that it was Murphy they were more impressed with/bothered about losing.
-
SIGNING.

Blozzer
-
Don't think it is, but I like it on the home kit.
-
Is the adidas logo on the body of the kit, or not? Away kit has thrown me.
-
Ashley shitting it, then.
-
Blind faith, mostly. 15th was based on those signings being at the same level we currently appear to be aiming for. If we spend a bit more, on established quality, then we could finish a fair bit higher.
-
Based on the genuine belief that we will get at least three to five more signings in, and us having a canny good manager, I went for 15th.
-
Forgot about that.
-
Possibly. Although, he didn't seem to mind much in the summer we brought in McClaren.
-
Signed by early next week then. There's quite obviously other factors at play here, slowing things down, than an incompetent Charnley. He managed about six hundred deals last summer, so he can certainly move quickly when he's allowed to.
-
Is that common place in football?
-
Shades of Jorge Campos there.
