Just look for the person doing this on one of the tables when you walk in. You're a bonny lad KI, why were you seeing that lass from the Sage? (it's a joke, it's a joke)

What are your thoughts on this VI, as a Catalan (presumably)?

Awful.

Video Assistant Referees (VAR)
Infinitely Content replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
Interpretation of rules seem to change from game to game, and from ref to ref anyway, so I don't think it particularly matters that VAR will be used in some games and not others. If anything it will help to show how glaringly necessary it is, and how the games it will be used in will be more enjoyable knowing more correct decisions are being made. -
Shelvey & Dubravka are equally as good and as important to us as Lascelles imo. I don't know a goalkeeper I would/we could replace Dubravka with, his game is complete and he seems like a good man too. I like Oblak for AM, but that's the level we're talking for someone better than our goalkeeper.

Yup Man I hope something gives. This club literally needs this man.
-
Hardly surprising imo, he's looked pretty awful whenever he's turned out for us in recent years (albeit not much - although in preseason he was absolutely dire). Not convinced he will ever be a PL footballer, but best of luck to him wherever his career goes from here, the City & Palace games are pretty memorable ones thanks to him.

We tried that once

Used to think he was class when I watched more oversees football & more champions league, don't know if he's still any good like.

Not to forget Henrikh Mkhitaryan of Ramsbottom.

'Ben Arfa Control Vs. Stoke' on youtube. Amazing. We were great that day, Cisse, Tiote, Cabaye & Ben Arfa were just excellent. We were world beaters that day. Unbelievably good. Cabaye's pass to Cisse for the first was ridiculous tbh, not sure anyone else in the ground knew that ball was on. Unreal. That season. Whilst it wasn't short of Pardisms some days were utter magic. Tearing West Brom apart in 45 minutes in their own backyard, Ryan Taylor over the wall, Hatem v Bolton, Hatem v Blackburn, Ba hat trick at Stoke, hammering Fergie under the lights at SJP, the Stoke home game that you've mentioned, the unbeaten run at the start, finally winning at Stamford Bridge from those two goals, Cisse playing like the second coming of Andy Cole. Goddammit, may never see a season like that again in the near future. So many good memories in there man. Remember so much of it like it was yesterday too, loved football in general that year mainly due to how excited I was by our play especially in the second half of the season.

Perch or Hatem - although you can't deny the power of Love, cult hero at the time he was.

F was that from Ben Mee. Lukaku through on goal, Mee just falls on the ball, hands first. No foul

I'd be interested to see the general conversion rate of penalties in football these days. Am I imagining it or are way more saved than they used to be? I've been thinking that too. For some reason always feel much less certain of a goal when a player is stepping up than I used to.

Burnley look awful.

Absolutely love that, and him

Looking forward to this one. Their defence looks very vulnerable asides from the consistently solid Monreal. We should put Kenedy up against Bellerin who wanders out of position regularly, start Rondon, start Perez, hopefully Shelvey is back... 2-1 to us. -
Subway sandwich artist!!!!111! AMIRITE That's Daniel Sturridge. Hatem is Renaissance levels.

Rennes announce the arrival of 'an artist'.

54 with Sanchez to play & Shelvey out (who I've now swapped for Neves). Was Cedric, Digne & Firmino getting the additional points for me I think. Possibly my best week but I've only logged in like 3 times since starting.
