  1. Because Ciaran Clark isn't a left back? Not particularly frightened by that West Ham team, reckon we'll win. Manquillo hat trick.
  2. They are. It's just point scoring by some. Nope, just fun & games. ManDoon was the first to @ me when Wolves started well, now I’m just returning the favour now they look poor & have lost 5 on the bounce. Still think they will struggle, you can’t defend like they do and expect not to struggle in this league.
  3. ManDoon[/member] what happened to your Wolves boys last night pal? they look fucking shit.
  4. I hope so - the solidity & rigidity at the back last game gave us some real freedom going forward that I haven't seen from us in such a way in a while; with Kenedy & Perez almost taking up free roles and also allowing Diame to get forward a bit more as well I thought.
  5. Hopefully he'll be better than he was against Burnley then. Yeah I agree after his heady heights (no pun intended) against Bournemouth, he wasn’t very influential at Burnley - however Burnley are decent in the air at the back & West Ham struggle in that area from what I’ve seen. Could cause a lot of problems for them if he’s up for it.
  6. Reckon Rondon will have a field day against their 2 central defenders. Pretty weak in that area and particularly in the air are West Ham where as I really think they’ll struggle to score.
  7. West Ham are capable of being hammered 3/4-0, but are also capable of beating teams by the same margin. With their best player potentially missing for the game, and the way we're playing I'm absolutely going for a home win. Crowd should be well up for it from the off (perhaps a tick in the box for take your seat for KO and encourage a quick start and early goal again). 3-1 Newcastle.
  8. Not sure their goal can go down as a goalkeeper 'howler'. Sure when the shot comes in he was too far off his line - but who is reasonably expecting a player to score from there & in that situation? Vokes had no right and it was a great header, I feel like Dubravka's starting position was in anticipation of a ball into the box and 9 times out of 10 nothing comes of that bit of play. His save from Wood 5 minutes later was brilliant
  9. He's indispensable to us at present. As good as Ki & Shelvey are, Diame is our first choice centre midfielder and probably one of the first names on the team sheet every week. I'm sure in our imaginations we would all like to ideally see Ki & Shelvey together, but imo it's one or the other, paired with Diame. Critical player.
  10. Towards the end of the game when Burnley were lumping it forward with Hart, I loved how Ki always regained control of the ball for us and distributed it simply and into space. Massive player for us with his composure and technical class.
  11. Fantastic from him again
  12. Wasn't Demba Ba's hat-trick away at Stoke on a Monday night? (oh, you said last 10)
  13. Lee Dixon. Worst commentator ever imo. Stunned at how miserable one man can be - always has some useless, negative assessment or anecdote. Boring bloke, like.
  14. Shelvey is obviously one of our best and most important players. I want to see him with Ki or Schar in the team as well before passing judgement; as I think too many times Shelvey is the only option to play the ball forward and it does make us sometimes predictable or frustrated due to lack of options. When we look at yesterday, the good things Ki done, Shelvey can do the same (although Ki's set pieces seem to be better). That arrowed pass to Kenedy is a Shelvey pass, amongst a few others he played. We didn't actually play too differently - we just looked like we had more options and were less predictable. Rondon being available & fit was a huge factor, Ritchie was well up for it against his former team & Kenedy was on form again meaning there was much better movement up top than we've seen so far this season (and the ball was actually sticking due to Rondon's incredible hold up play). Put Shelvey in there yesterday and I would have still backed us to get the same result on the day.
  15. Ki had a superb game, the metronome of the team. Kept it simple when needed, played with a certain ease and always made himself available. And of course as we know, he can play that arrowed, cross-field pass when the opportunity arises. Really looking forward to seeing more of him.
  16. Made some great decisions today I thought. Three subs were spot on in personnel and timing.
  17. Love the way he finds space in congested areas of the pitch.
  18. Rondon was heroic in that second half like. Fernandez, Ki, Kenedy & Rondon all played extremely well today.
  19. Think Adam Smith done his knee ligaments or something by the looks of it.
  20. Ki & Kenedy not to mention Rondon have been excellent there I think. Ki especially, love his composure and the way he moves into space.
  21. Aye, this. Dummett has put in a few very good crosses this season, Yedlin often over hits them, it's really an area he needs to work on as he's very good at getting into the position to deliver. Ritchie however is certainly the best crosser of the ball out of the three mentioned players.
  22. Seri can't play in the cold. For real. "The midfielder has a problem with chilblains on his feet that means he almost cannot play in cold weather. “When it’s cold I need special treatment,” he told Le Point. “I don’t see myself playing in a country where it’s cold. I hurt everywhere and I can't train.”" Holy shit, I shouldn't laugh at his misfortune but
