  1. I actually prefer it without for some reason Feels clear.
  2. Yeah nice bit of football... shame about his cross 30 seconds later
  3. Great goal by Ayew for Swansea, reminded me of Papiss Cisse v Liverpool in 2012 iirc.
  4. Looks good here tbf. First I've seen of him properly, he's explosively quick, powerful, good corner taker and has picked a few good passes.
  5. Canny bit hair gan on in this Chelsea side with Ampadu, Luiz & Willian.
  6. Interested to see how Harrison Reed (highly rated S'oton youngster) and also James Maddison get on here.
  7. The Senegalese Zidane, from Bordeaux to the black & white. Keep pls.
  8. I think we will too. What we lack in quality we make in for with a positive team mentality & the right manager to guide them. Those two factors are more important than individual players imo. As we have first hand experience of, good players don't keep you up single-handedly, you need a team, we have that now more than in years gone by.
  9. Just go to that curry house in London; rumour has it you can just walk straight in, find Ashley enjoying some Peshwari naan and have a meeting there and then. Just look for the big man with the bib
  10. Where did you get that £320M figure from? From selling crystals for healing and offering Reiki sessions. Very lucrative.
  11. Oh dear Nothing much changes really, it's still all about staying up whether we were to be sold or not. It was too late now anyway for the incoming party to act. He now has to do all he can to help Rafa achieve safety, whatever sum that happens to be - not even for footballing reasons but for his own financial interest. A bit of respite for our great fan base from this takeover debacle is probably not a bad thing either, the players and the manager need us.
  12. The concept of an arse off has me rather amused I can imagine some Abba playing in the background, perhaps...
  13. Loves a Megarider does Taylor. Who doesn't for £13.80 a week.
  14. Unsure about Rafael Benitez's future at Newcastle but happy to sign for Alan Pardew at West Brom, righto. Strong and stable, strong and stable, strong and stable. Say it enough times and people start to believe it
  15. One for the Burial fans, of which there is many on here... http://i66.tinypic.com/2d9u5vb.png
  16. If I remember correctly it is a weekly basis and only on a game to game basis for UEFA/FIFA matches. No doubt his weekly pay will be suspended until further notice. Or else he will be banned for a couple months without pay. Had the ref not sent him off and just shook the players hand and laughed it off it wouldn’t have seemed half as bad. It was the fact he brought double the attention on himself by then wrongly sending the player off that got him in a real bad spot. The kick itself didn’t even seem all that bad it’s not like he walloped his shin or anything. He has really f***ed himself. Any dream or ambition he had to be a FIFA ref, go to the World Cup, the euros, ref a major final or anything of that nature is gone. I see, thanks for shedding light on that as I've often wondered how it worked with refs. With this French guy the other day though, I just hope he gets the opportunity to clean up his act & continue doing his job. As I say he could have been going through any number of personal struggles; none of which justify acting the way he did, but surely it can't be a one strike and your out basis, that would be very harsh when dealing with a person's living, particularly with what the players themselves get away relatively unscathed with. Unless of course he has a history of treating players in such an unprofessional way...
  17. I don't think so, but why would they put out a press release just for a bid, I guess...
  18. I agree with all of that. On the final/attacking third point you made, I think we do physically speaking have pace up top, we just have no urgency mentally to make use of it. Everything is so ponderous. To be fair to Yedlin he's one of the only ones who injects a bit of urgency on the overlap, even though he cuts back too often having received the ball.
  19. careful of ambiguous sightings on Jesmond Dene... Monkey Dust is brilliant, terribly dark at times - but brilliant.
