I think entirely the opposite. He reacted and you could tell by the change in formation and personnel that the performance improved the second half. Howe did nowt wrong here. The players, especially the first half, were a disgrace (looking at you Gordon). Joelinton decided to join in after 40 minutes, Bruno did every pass wrong, normally giving to the opposition, Woltemade non existence but not his fault, Botman was hopeless that no one has picked up on, Burn is not a left back but I still love him and finally Nick Pope who I idolise has a brain fart for the first goal. In conclusion, that performance was not on Howe.
