He’s our manager. There is nobody better out there that would a) want to come here and b) improve us.

Just as well we’re just a bunch of daft football fans posting daft views in a daft forum. The Eddie out brigade seem to have the “Just sack him and we’ll worry about who replaces him later” mentality. Thats daft, but it’s a view. My daft view is he’s massively over performed since he joined us. Our first team is canny, our squad is shit. Our backroom off-field team are shit. I think he’s the long term solution to us ever changing from a bang average club to a club that can consistently challenge in league, cups and Europe. But there again, what would I know. I’m just a daft football fan like the rest of us.

Can’t help think that our fan base expects far too much. It plays into opposing fans views on us perfectly. We are, and nearly always have been, a bang average club. PSR will always keep us as exactly that. To be anything else, it will need a slow build. The key focus on youth development and finding potential. Changing managers because of 1 poor season is a knee-jerk reaction. Last season Eddie was being hailed as a local hero. Now the fans are collecting their pitchforks to drive him out of the club.

Genuinely interested in who people think should replace him. Bobby has said he’s on the fence. But it would be good to get the thoughts of those who definitely think he needs sacked as to who they’d definitely want to replace him.

Ashley averaged a net spend of around £9m per season during his tenure. Current net is around £107m a season. (Restricted massively by Masters, whilst praying we’ll slip up.) The suggestion that MA would have had £100m available to invest every season and could have easily done similar is pretty tough to swallow.

Would Bruno leave for 1 season in the CL with manchesters second club? Chances are they’ll not qualify next season on league position with the amount of games they’ll play. I say an unlikely move.
