Newcastle United 3-3 Manchester City (21/08/2022)
Mahoneys Tache replied to Yorkie's topic in Football
Today we are as good as city. I’ll take that. Being fifth is a significant cherry. -
To be fair, ‘beHeddie’ is a creative piss take.

We should start sacrificing goats to Apollo in the centre circle before matches.

I think mike should be given mod powers. -
What’s this here? Invalidating people’s opinion and forcing yours on them? Out of character for a man of your morale fibre.

In a league of gentlemen massage parlour style?
-
Ye can hadaway and shite anarl ?

You have a low threshold for force. and yeah, given the last decade and a half, people should be extremely pleased with the last two transfer windows comparatively and in context. The bloke whinging that we are looking at players like Pedro needs to his head a wobble. No apologies for pointing that out.
-
I’m not telling anybody they are wrong. I’m disagreeing with their opinion and providing an example to offer a different perspective. And I don’t see any of them getting their knickers in a twist.

He’d done it more than Andy Cole had. You can fucking nitpick all you like, but the OP was in response to the knacka complaining about buying players with potential. If we were buying a relative unknown like Andy Cole he’d be fucking moaning about that too. Except Andy Cole was a paradigm shifting player for us. Pedro might be too, but he might be as much use as tits on a fish. Worth the punt.
-
Pedro is a good young player with great potential. So was Andy Cole when we bought him. Pedro has done it in the premier league. People are moaning about him being a target when they should be excited at buying a player who looks like developing into a cracking player. Does that clear it up captain pedantic?
-
Which illustrates my point even more.
-
Relevant because there’s moaning about buying relatively unknown players and he was dynamite. Same as Bellamy. Average everywhere he’d been until SBR saw his potential.
-
Had anybody heard of Andy Cole before we bought him? Nah. Me neither.
-
Is that the new term for meth?
-
Mostly deserved. Red cards for being a knacka are nowt to do with footballing talent
-
Henry was a right (?) sided player when Wenger bought him iirc but the genius frenchie put him up front and the rest is history.
-
Willock can finish. I think he could convert to a striker like Henry did.
-
What the fuck are you on about you snot? I was pointing out that he was a massive cunt for that statement. Now fuck off and come back when you’ve finished puberty.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0-0 Newcastle United (13/08/2022)
Mahoneys Tache replied to BlueStar's topic in Football
Well It’s not is it? It’s a measure of the season up to now and the work done up to now. Four points from two games and third. How else are you going to measure it? We’ll be at least 6th after the rest of the games are played. Struggling to recall last time we were 6th. -

Been supporting since the 74 final spanking. Never been so optimistic. Not fucking creaming my kex, just optimistic. Things are calm and very professional. I think we are going to surprise everybody including ourselves.
-
I recall him making a comment along the lines of ‘it’s just what you give your bitch’ when some player slapped another on MOTD or something which was never acknowledged.

By the end of august we’ll have played citeh and Liverpool. We’ll have a much better gauge of where we’re after that. Wolves and Brighton and two decent sides too so it will be an interesting month.
