  1. Kross has to go down, clear foul but if he stays on his feet and gets a shot blocked - ref is never pulling the play back.
  2. Twice I've heard this word used by grown men this week. Expected it from Pardew, but Hoddle has really let himself down.
  3. Personally rate Isco higher than Bale. Not seen PSG at all this season other than them whipping Bayern, but don't fancy them here at all. Hope Real stuff the cunts
  4. Nacional have been fined $80,000 (£57,500) and their fans banned for three games after some taunted Chapecoense about the plane crash which killed 19 players and staff. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43055965
  5. Much can be said for the virtues of playing in the PL, but QPR away was the best experience I've had supporting Newcastle and watching them live. Shelvey's goal that night
  6. Just had City game on from last night playing whilst doing other stuff.. Strange as it sounds, couldn't help thinking they looked pretty sloppy. Basel seemed to throw men forward and space was there to create chances against City, but they just didn't have anything about them. Maybe more to the fact they were so far in the lead, but couldn't help noticing their whole game lacked the same intensity that it does in the PL when their seeing games out.
  7. Didn't know Lassana Diarra is playing for PSG now
  8. Would love them to, quite fond of Spurs. 1 goal conceded in 16 from Juve would suggest scoring 2 is a monumental task. Do love the fact that they are so good at defending though, so I'm torn Wish BT wouldn't spoil score of the City game as well - was going to watch that back
  9. Higuain looks like he enjoyed his winter break a little too much
  10. That's that over then, inside 2mins! Good luck scoring against Juve
  11. Anyone bothered what Spurs or Man City are up to this evening?
  12. Literally bucked a lass together whilst on holiday. Ahh, so they did! Little before my time that. Bet this will all become a story now then, with retrospective outrage occuring from all and sundry. Can imagine Lamps and Ferdinand are right chuffed with Dyer bringing this up
  13. Stumbled upon this channel few weeks ago, quality stuff! Seems really underrated!
  14. Was Pogba there with him? Or did Mo finally let him out of his pocket
  15. My main criticism of him would be he uses his athleticism well but not his size, basically he runs off the back of defenders and takes them into areas they don't want to be really well but i feel like he doesn't play with his back to goal very well. Because of that he doesn't really take advantage of smaller defenders as much as his frame suggests he should but has a lot of success against bigger defenders where his athleticism comes into play. Not many forwards these days do though so it's not like it's unique to him. Manduzukic at Juve springs to mind. Moved out to the left since Higuain came along and has evolved himself into a winger-target-man hybrid. Should be interesting tonight to see how he plays. Spurs don't really have to face that sort of style too often, and lost to Burnley when they decided to load on all their big forwards.
  16. Playing West Brom will be no fun at all if he isn't there to take part. Pardew is the best were getting for a rivalry for the foreseeable future. If he does get sacked he should just start a nation wide tour, popping up at clubs here and there, guest stints all over the place. Initiate that famous Pardew lift, before leaving for the next before things go royally terrible.
  17. Appreciate that he has a story to tell, and no doubt parts will be good reads, but don't get why he's name dropping Frank Lampard in the article. Maybe there is more to tell in his book, but just comes across a cheap dig at a high profile name to shamelessly generate interest. In no context at all in terms of the Bowyer thing, suddenly it's 'OI LOOK... Frank Lampard has something to hide!!!' Dyer and Lampard never really had a history did they?
  18. Seems their now run by another lunatic Chinaman. Probably fair cause to them getting the boot. Spent a fair bit in the summer, their wage bill must have taken a considerable hike with Sturridge, Gibbs and Krychowiak on it now. Spent a few amount on Rodriguez and Burke. Sacking off Pulis would have cost them. Owners probably would have appreciated selling Evans to get some money in as well, which didn't happen. Hiring Pardew along with his frying pan to jump straight out off...
  19. Lascelles defiantly deserves a call up ahead of Smalling, Jones, Cahill. Fits into Southgate's cliched philosophy of being able to play out from the back, in that he's half decent on the ball, and quick enough to keep up with Eden Hazard over the first few yards. Got a feeling it'll be a case of if we aren't winning come the time of the next squad being announced, he'll be overlooked. His performances rarely dip too low even when we are out of form, but us winning can only highlight his campaign! On topic of England CBs - I'd rate Dier much better at centre back than in midfielder, and would actually say he's up there as our best CB. He'd be in a back three with Stones and Maguire for me, but then that leaves the horrific risk of having Henderson playing.
  20. Sad news that. Remember listening to an interview with him a few months back, seemed like a nice down to earth guy. Talked well about his time at Spurs, and how he and his misses went round Poch's for dinner. Think it was just after pre-season, and said he was having regular check ups, but was training with the team and seemed hopeful of being able to get playing again.
  21. Haven't read his bit in the Mail over the weekend beyond the headline - obviously echo the bravery mentioned in here already - did hear that he mentioned something about an England player coming home from Euro 2004 owing £100k around the squad from gambling. My bets (yes, pun intended) on David James... Stories a few years ago saying he lost millions over his career.
  22. Presuming one of those is coming from Daily Star? Walk really.. some of these guys are clueless beyond reporting Bale's latest bid to leave Real Madrid for Man United
  23. Good for him he has an ego to cash those cheques, as his body certainly can't.
  24. There was a video piece BBC about obscure teams playing in the Europa League earlier in the season. Another guy and Dyer where asked if certain team names where real or not. Dyer thought Zulte Waregem were made up, despite playing against them for us...
