Probably a bit more confident, maybe a bit to do with Fulham not pressing as well as other teams (like Leeds did). You can't fault his effort and he is fantastic off the ball. But I'd be amazed if he is still about if we become a top 4 staple. Unless there is major, sustained improvement.
-
I think Isak coming in can counter the loss of Bruno. But would love a couple of signings to improve the midfield.
-
Nope, well aware I dare be critical. Think people need to either accept it quietly or try to discuss my points. Cos it is boring when a handful of you go, "oh DE is so negative. Just think happy thoughts. How dare you question Eddie..." Last post on this. Cos we'll just get loads more rubbish posts like the one above. Sigh.

I bet if you go through all my posts in the last few months (actually all my posts full stop) there is more positive than negative. But a few of you have become very blinkered Think if I have an opinion, I'll post it. And if someone just gets on the name calling without a proper reply to my points, I'll call them out for adding nothing.

He's slow and ponderous. Wouldn't work in our system. Botman and Schar had an easy time with him.

Don't see what the big deal is with being critical? You lot treat it like a sin You can be delighted with how things are going, belive Howe is the best manager we've had (maybe, ever) and still think that we have some improvements to make.
-
You know managers don't tell the whole truth in interviews, right? Howe is a PR king. I'd be amazed if he left today thinking, "yeah that was great" and not, "hmm, a few games now we've looked a little blunt..."
-
I'd bet money Howe isn't happy with most of the game. I think we've gotta look at how we can do better against teams at home. Little bit flat with the ball. And could do with maybe getting Isak and ASM involved ealier. Teams seem to have a handle on our right side. And our attacking play is very asymmetrical. Perhaps it is time to look at Isak or ASM from the wide left position so that opponents can't focus solely on our right?
-
What do you mean? We looked sluggish for a lot of the game and hadn't scored in ages before Isak arrived. No?
-
Urgh, pointless arrogant and condescending. Shite post lv. Any strong reason for that? Feels like I've made a reasonable post and you've got a chippy.

You forgot Everton fans.

I (and have seen others say similar) reckon it was a little too cautious and predictable. Fancy a few players are fatiguing and opponents have a good plan to defend us. Subs were good as I said. Formation change worked really well. Just think we could've done more from the start and maybe we're wearing down our first choice players.

What do you mean?

He's got a good engine is all I'm saying

Give us some retro gear like Arsenal and I'll weep with joy.
-
Looked like he'd be fine in a 2 man midfield. Him and Longstaff charging about...
-
Schar was magnificent. Didn't put a foot wrong in defence and his play with the ball was ridiculously progressive.
-
Up the Arsenal!
-
A few questions rightly being asked about his starting 11 and tactics for the first time... this season? He did very well with the subs though. Isak in the hole worked really well. I didn't see that coming.

When's the funeral?
-
They had Mitrovic up front... They weren't going to get near us in normal play outside a cross. But then Schar and Botman were dominant in our area.
-
Fulham were doing it for a good 10-15 minutes before conceding

I thought Leeds did a much better job on us than Fulham.
