Fwiw, there were definitely reports of him being unreliable at his former club and not having much of an end product. Why else would he be playing for us? He's really come on in the last year and a half. And there have been no major off field issues, as far as we know. He was so fucking good today. Pretty much unplayable in spells.

He's going to grow into a quality player. All the signs are there. People need to lay off him and give him some support.

I'd love it if someone somewhere put together a stats comparison of the 3 games with Jones involved versus the games before Jones arrived. I'm sure it would be a very stark contrast if you compared passes in the opposition final third and xg.
