He hasn't looked properly up to speed since the break. Harsh to judge him at the moment. There is a useful player in there, but not the player I thought we had signed after his first few games under Benitez.

Yeah he isn't super old. The issue is that he has suffered so many chronic injuries the last few years.

He is a more intelligent footballer and has far greater strength than Joelinton. Shame his body is ruined.

He was bullied by the Villa defenders. He has no exceptional feature of his game to allow him to succeed as a number 9. He doesn't have great strength, pace, intelligence, skill, movement or timing of runs. How have we paid so much for this plodder

Rose has bossed his wing. The guy is effortlessly good.

Carroll has played so well.

Gayle and Carroll are better than Joelinton and Almiron as an attacking pair.

I was worried he didn't have the quality for the Prem. He is certainly limited with the ball, but his defence is solid.
