Gotta say, he looked like he wasn't quite on the pace for this one. Maybe came on slightly undercooked, which is understandable. Must be shite being the big man stuck on the bench for 90 minutes. But even still, he was faultless and every contribution was rock fucking solid. Ball win and instant pass to ASM and the committed header to win the freekick. Cannot wait to see him start a game.

He did not put a foot wrong in our half. No silly dribbling in dangerous areas, no weak pass attempts. He did what he could with the ball and so yeah, like not his most electric performance but one for the team.

That was one of his best all-round performances.

I like this new Joe Willock. Reminds me of the old Joe Willock.

Often lights it up when the opposition start flagging. A quiet first half is not unusual for him. If anything, this has been one of his better efforts.
