  1. I don't want to get involved, and know none of you - but I think Dub has proven himself this season, and our shot to goal ratio has plummeted. Take it to PM.
  2. Agree with all of above re. Lewis - found it particularly interesting how players were looking to find him in the middle a lot of the time once he came on. They see a lot more than us lot in training, I think he seems well thought of amongst his peers. Willock has his part to play - he's lost a bit of spark, but what a great backup to have. Him and Big Joe have that "Bash Bros" thing going, which is always helpful, but his output was minimal today.
  3. I'm not even gonna get my hopes up. Didn't they value him at £55m? or was that somebody else? Trying to bury my head in the sand!
  4. I get your point, but they could get a payday and inflate their value at the same time. World class? Probably none. Hakimi is a good shout, but I think he relies on recovery rather than actual defending.
  5. The knee-jerk in here has my gout flaring up :/
  6. I think a lot of industries have diction training, which I have had in my past (early) corporate life. As much as we love it, and a lot of other regional folk do - sometimes people can't understand us, and I think that's fine. Nobody ever questions where I am from nowadays, FYI.
  7. I don't know if I'm being special (very possibly), but I was looking yesterday to try and find some live football on BBC iPlayer and couldn't find it on the TV... where am I meant to be looking for this game?!
  8. Dibling and Evan Ferguson on a loan with option to buy would be absolutely class, but not sure it's very likely!
  9. I’d love Dibling and Delap post-relegation. I’m not sure Delap would play second fiddle, mind. I could see him being main man for an Everton/West Ham type.
  10. I don't know if I'm still drunk or having a nervous breakdown but I think we are going to win this one 2-1.
  11. Would still absolutely love Adeyemi, but he's put in some eye catching performances recently which may make him unobtainable.
  12. I don’t know of I’m in the middle of a nervous breakdown or drunk, but I have this weird sense of optimism today that I haven’t had all window. I think we get Guehi and Madueke before Friday. *puts on my tin hat*

I think this will be huge for us, annoying reading all the negativity. Has Parish done his usual barrel bending? Of course. Have we overpaid? Time will tell. I feel this is a ten year signing, and he will be with us until we need him to depart, and if so, it would have been a fantastic signing. Hall - Botman - Guehi - Tino Going into any season for the next decade would allow us to spend elsewhere (maybe LB upgrade, time will tell). Hope this happens, gagging for some action. P.S. Agree with all the RW scare mongering. I mentioned Gnonto and Madueke a few month back, would snap at the chance to have either.

I love all this ITK stuff. I got a "piece" of information a few years ago that we were going to sign Daniel Sturridge, and it was all but done - he even got a few people in the office to lump on it, think they got 16/1 for it... good odds until you realise they were that long because he wasn't going to sign haha. One poor sod lumped £200 on it and he wasn't really in the position to be spunking that amount on anything! The chap giving the information was quite high up (director) level, hope he felt bad haha.

I'd imagine so - no need for heavy rotation of a back four without European football, although Schar's age means he wont be playing out of his skin 40+ games a season in the near future. This is mega exciting, and probably the most exciting link we've had as it seems to have came in "warm" and nobody whispering about it beforehand. Trying my best to not get my hopes up.
  16. I think so mate, but where there is smoke, there is usually fire! Maybe we will see them getting their comeuppance this season? I think now we have seen clubs be penalised, it would be almost impossible for them to avoid some point deduction at some stage, it’s just when. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re putting these bets on next pre season too, though. Their lawyers will just have them tangled up in nonsense for as long as possible.
  17. Man City getting relegated was 6000/1 - now 14/1. (Skybet)
  18. I reckon he will come out and quickly banish any rumours, like he has in the past (hopefully)! ... then we will sign Raphina, Thiaw and Mamaraadasahivli
