Tbf to Moyes, and to some degree Howe with the Krafth reshuffle, he had every right to think a team 3-1 up wouldn't implode when he brings on an "England midfielder" to tighten up. Still had plenty for any breakaways which is how they'd set up. Likewise Howe with the Krafth & the 3 changes at the back. I know I'm being generous but they did seem to go to pieces for a while and neither manager could expect either player to have absolutely honking cameos. On the game in general, at the risk of being a "happy clapper", I thought we were the better team throughout. Mad spell either side of half time but if you consider their equaliser a result of those multiple changes to the back line not instantly gelling then everything else wasn't on the defence. At 1-1, Gordon's header was a whisper away, Bruno hit the crossbar. Their 2nd, if you want to pin it on anyone, was down to Willock not tracking Kudos. Tino got back at Bowen. Their 3rd, if you want to pin it on anyone, Schar with the flailing miss-tackles on Kudos AND Gordon letting Bowen go on his own. After that we battered them. -

Maybe it's just me but I'm OK with that. Much like McAllister's booking yesterday, despite the Hockler's protestations, the defender has no intention of having anything to do with the ball. Goes straight for the attacker and takes him out. Sends him flying. A shoulder charge is two athletes coming together with the ball at their feet. Obvs if he's on a yellow already then there's no need for VAR in the 1st place. As the Doc says, 2nd yellow, tara -
This kind of whacky, er is it optimism or hubris, is what gets people shouting for Eddie's head when at least one of those fixtures defaults to reasonable expectations. A draw, for instance ????

Play a low block, apparently. Even tho we've been disrupted to fuck and don't ever play that way even when we've a full squad and plenty time to train for it. 90 mins of defending with the odd breakaway. From a team "with no pace" as well. Loons

Should've beaten them with an injured 11 never mind the fit ones. Eddie OUT

If we beat these AND Fulham whilst Man U draw at Chelsea then get beat off Liverpool we'll be above them. Not that I'm trying to force a rivalry that doesn't exist or have any realistic expectation that those set of results are likely but would be canny funny. -

That flap at the cross 90 (+7) when Soucek chested it wide ?? Horrific

Nah, fuck that. Let's throw wild speculation that PIF are gonna spend millions on the ground to add 6k seats just to flog the whole shebang. Half the fans determined not to move to a new ground the other half think we're shit if we don't. ?

On their second, both teams were very good at stopping play when players were injured. Gentlemenly even. Not for this goal. Even given Schar routinely hits the deck there is a clear argument for head injury. Petty as it is Kudos runs his fingers down Schar's bracket, lashing out. He did the same when Gordon fouled him in the 1st half. Maybees it's his thing. Our players should've been on their toes regardless but the ref's body language was all about stopping play. -
Nope. He's always after the ball. Just off colour/limited in a team that's had to tough it out all season. Still does the runs, scored a few (but not enough) An example of his passion could be seen in the 1st half yesterday when he was giving Krafth pelters for not squaring to him when he got to their byline. Can see he's very frustrated with himself as well. Maybe that's affecting his confidence. Ps not suggesting passion is enough and he could be upgraded for a few quid.
