Howay Joseph Close control, holding onto and releasing the ball to others, shot placement etc Granted it's not a long list, but he has scored goals in this league with a team that is not set up for him at all. I'll agree there's plenty of improvements to be made to his own game, but I can't write him off or judge him too critically give the team and tactics he's been hoyed into this season.

I've perhaps not been as attentive to the whole "small pool of players" argument, so it's difficult to say. My feeling comes from being at the match and seeing some of the players that just weren't interested. I'm not sure what difference a new manager would make in that context, so a clear out of the players that want away or aren't good enough is a better refresh than refreshing the manager, if that make sense.

At the moment, I'm erring on the side of needing a squad refresh over a management change. It's going to be a big summer whatever happens.
