  1. I lived there for two years before moving to the US in 2002. Bury St Edmunds for three before that. Loved Suffolk, and spent a lot of weekends in Ipswich.
  2. Can't tell if you have a Sir Bobby, Sheeran or Farage fetish. After his Coachella performance last year, I'll allow Sheeran with Sir Bobby.

If they had been American owned much earlier, the FA might have picked on someone else when they got screwed over for ManU.

    Nick Woltemade

The friend works at the deli counter where Nick buys his vegan currywursts.
  5. Will be mildly interesting to see what Beckham does to keep interest up - even his own. Before Messi they couldn't sell out 18k (new stadium 26k) despite having a metro population 50% larger than Seattle, who average 31k.
  6. Now needs to be named Scouse Blunder Marmalade to fit in with new labelling laws?
  7. They showed him standing and walking around on that Fenwick's baking video the other day. Could be a prosthetic like.
  8. He had two leap years in his reign, not just the one too. So kinda just 2 days shy.
  9. Iraq v Bolivia has been a crap fest, but quite fun to watch in a Championship / MLS kind of way. Currently 2-1 to Iraq with about 35 mins left. BBC must have everyone asleep as they are just showing the game is "In Play" and they don't even have the score up:
  10. Bosnia vs Qatar is one of the Seattle games. Think I'll pass at $800.
  11. Was soft as shite, but brain dead to even go there.
  12. He would have been 1:1, and it's outside the box so no DOGSO double jeopardy to save him. Donarumma lucky the Bosnian didnt make anything of the head butt too.
  13. Was wondering the same. Looks like maybe just preseason.
  14. Or as my PE teacher used to say, "What does practice make?" and everyone would reply "Perfect!" to which we got "Bollocks does it, correct practice makes perfect". You would think that between games it would be light enough to work on training aspects like skills (knowing where the fucking sideline is) and team play (what colour socks we will be wearing to pass to). They shouldn't need to be killing themselves physically when the games are coming every 3-4 days. Edit: Howe in, but there have been good comments on both sides I've agreed with.
  15. I think this is a good point, and since Wenger was brought up it is something he also suffered with. Once Mourinho came into the league, Wenger's titles dried up, but Ferguson continued to switch around his coaching team (who were the ones doing day to day training) and evolved enough to keep taking back the crown.
  16. Loved a scissor tackle and c*nt challenges on defenders in midair.

    Yoane Wissa

Can only hope for an insurance job now.
  18. Correlation is not causation, but City have gone backwards since selling Alvarez.
  19. If PIF offer more than just taking over his contract, they are paying too much. Hopefully they've learnt their lesson.
  20. Spurs players having their half time talk on the pitch as they don't want to hear what Tudor has to say?
  21. +1. They looked almost broke by us making it 2-2 and if Gordon had finished it would have been a different game. Maybe not the result at win/lose, but way tighter.
  22. I wouldn't say it was enough in the league, but it really looked no different than the one on Yamal that Joelinton got booked for (and they then scored from).
  23. His name has come up here regularly. Nothing in the press though AFAIK so your point stands.
  24. That last frame, feel like TBG saying Neave getting the starting job upfront.
