Was it just apathy or was the forum much smaller then, as he got no grief two years after that last post? I think I was on nufc-forum at the time, never liked ToonTastic or whatever it was called.

Finally had a chance to watch the game, after being up in Canada with my eldest for a cosplay event with some TikTokers they wanted to meet. Nothing really to add that hasn't already been said, but at the start of the second half where they huddled in the center again, Jon Champion (it sounded like) said "Once again Chelsea have annexed the center spot for their huddle. Really does look nonsensical" Got to say I really don't like Delap. Within 15s of coming on at halftime he's giving the c*nt's challenge not looking at the ball and taking out Botman while he's in midair. Botman landed awkwardly on his ankle and it could have been way worse (as we've seen with Tino this season). IFAB really should be looking at making that a booking.

Swap for Kane. Not bothered if he breaks Shearer's record if that means he's banging in 25 per season for us for a while. Records are meant to be broken.

Even ESPN+ prematch for the Wrexham game isn't on for another few minutes. Would have thought they'd be showing clips of Two Guys and a Girl and a Pizza Place or something to fill the airtime.

Hotel's do this all the time. Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport but it's in Renton - a standalone city - and right next to the Boeing 737 factory. Great view of it, and the fresh planes taking off

Looking forward to Fender's next album.

They went mental getting a draw at West Ham in the 96th the other week. Must be one of the prawn sandwich brigade complaining about the joyous riffraff.

Admins should be banning themselves for letting that slide.

Rather than snatching a draw from the jaws of defeat, they've had the excitement of a zip tie

Given they were in the second tier more recently than us, they (Villa) have not done bad (though without CL for this season, this may change given the 2026 report cover 2024-25): Deloitte Football Money League 2026 | Deloitte UK

I don't think it mattered that much, but the special window before the CWC allowed them to sign Pedro with the glamor of going to the CWC.

Needs a great summer if he wants to justify getting in the dressing room photos. Not that there have been many of those recently, and no more soft(er than us) touches like Spurs left to play. He's had his fun getting included as a new employee, now it's delivery time.

VAR on corners is fine only if it's when a goal comes from the corner and so they go back to it. Can't be arsed with a corner taking three minutes to adjudicate beforehand.

What were the tactics at 2-2? Yes Gordon lost the ball, but he was deep in right midfield and Everton instantly had 3 on 2. Looked like we were playing 2-2-6.

Catalans for me like.

My sister worked with the real Lenor back in the 80s. Her dad worked at P&G and suggested the name of his new daughter in the new product naming contest back in the day.

"pap Sarr" the commentators calling it as they see it.

He hired Nuno, Ange and Frank, surely they don't forget that so quick /s

Why do we always seem to get Saturday games after CL, never Sunday? With the new formation we have, get into them!
-
Isaac Hayden was into that wasn't he? Must have learnt it in the academy.

You're as wrong as your avatar was about having a nice canoe trip.

I wasn't sure of the timelines, but it seems it was around the time Cole was sold that we were in for him. Palace were cucks then, taking less from Spurs than we offered, it turns out. I remember the Geordie links being played heavily at the time, but Wikipedia says he moved away when he was just 3.

There is a former railway bridge just outside Seattle, north of Newcastle where I-90W and I-405 cross, that had "EMRE ARG" tagged on it. Always wondered if that was related to some of his performances. Found it on Google Maps Street View from 2015. It had been there since before 2007 when Google first recorded it but got tagged over around 2017.
