I'd be more concerned if I was him about Palace having won more trophies than them in the last 50years, having a better league record than them in the last 40plus years and about to be yet another club to have a better European pedigree than them and the debate as to whether Palace are a bigger club than them becomming legitimate than fantasising aboutt how Mags must feel about an unrelated club winning a cup a few month after they did.

On one had that's sad beyond belief. On the other, its the greatest moment they've had for a decade, which is sad beyond belief.
-
Its a clear booking anywhere on the pitch. Denying a goalscoring opportunity with the same ingringement has got to be red.

Some people like Man City the way you do Palace and dislike Palace the way you do Man City. That's all there is to it.

2013 Wigan and Swansea

Different worlds if you can get one up on them. Quite easy to marshall, waste their own time and magic aside you've every chance
-
They're not scoring. Takes them the best part of 10minutes to faff around until someone takes some responsibility and tries a shot or incisive pass
-
Aside from with us, cant remember the last time a team I wanted to win won. Feel like PSG aside its never happened.
-
My understanding. As were still just in the Conference I'd just as soon Palae didn't win this c8nt

I think it was to stop highly controversial decisions affecting the results of important games like cup finals. How's that working for it?
-
if there was a bit of a scramble midway inside a half, ball bouncing here and there, and the keeper came out and smacked the ball away, he'd get booked. But a goalscoring opportunity for the best striker in the game on the edge of the box is no worse somehow.

They're a club that's always got half a mind on the beach anyway, its why they always are what they always are compared to the real big boys of any era, but this has been ridiculous. It was so predictable. Our taking the second half of the season off under Ashley when safe by Christmas was the most miserable pathetic thing I'd seen but some pride and professionalism would still break out by law of averages in one or two games. Not with these.

Wouldn't fancy the lack of competitiveness and gumption in Spurs making a game of this even if we weren't invested

Didn't Sheffield United get recompensed for Ferguson playing a weakened team that ultimately relegated them?
-
Expecting Intertoto cup 95 esque resistance from them tonight.

Always reminds me of Brian Kilcline lifting the Division One trophy

Seems to me that people want to play them to rub their noses in it. But we can do that now anyway. We are superior by every measure. They'll probably never finish ahead of us again (which ALS said after the Raylor game was all that mattered). All playing them is going to do is give them the chance to go on like that's not the case if things work out for them - and they'll totally believe it if history is any gage.

Seemed good, by all accounts (other than perveyors of county cricket atmospheres (if the radio is anything to go by) on RTG obviously) was. Maresca's even using it as an excuse for the card. The best atmosphere's anyone's experienced had dips, probably relative to the game. Its natural. Constant noise is only really created by cosplaying ultras and isn't actually support.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
Wolfcastle replied to Rich's topic in Football
I'll feel sorry for Villa because of the run their on and Forest when were there ourselves mesel like -
"There’s 6 teams from England next season in it, considering you can say for certainty which 12 teams in the PL definitely won’t qualify, it’s more difficult not to qualify." There's 6-7 teams qualify for Europe via the league every season....why haven't they done that once in their entire history if its that easy.
-
I'd take it. Nothing on the game for them, no backlash from this.
-
Want them to get thrashed but don't want to play them (or anybody decent) after a thrasing, always mindful of response

6 for City, 4 for Chelsea, 2 for Villa, 1 for Forest 1 an no goal swings for Chelsea if they don't win at Forest -
Losing at Arsenal wouldn't surprise anyone and then you're reliant on definitely beating Everton in a one-off game where anything can happen, just get there ourselves then decide who we'd like to be there with us.
-
possibly, just a hunch, because they can still finish above and prevent us from qualifying for the CL.
