  1. and strange but true but our form improved under Souness from where we left off under Sir Bobby
  2. So bad its long passed any feeling sorry for him into just being offensive. That's without even factoring the salary in.
  3. Better than expected performance whilst at the same time not exactly encouraging as you'd like to used their nerves and lacklustreness better. Another defeat whilst everyone that can catch us won.
  4. That was too much of a fillip in the circumstances for my liking.
  5. Jeez West Ham have some good game left too. Brentford and us away, Leeds home last day.
  6. Its so far their best season in 25years and third best in over half a century. This is our worst PL season outside of Ashley's reign and completely unwarranted from where we should be. Completely different scenarios. This is great for them. This is shit for us.
  7. All it would take to be playing Forest for the 15th/16th place people have mentioned in a few weeks is losing at home to Brighton as usual. Losing at Arsenal (extremely likely) Leeds beat Burnley at home (highly likely) There's every chance all of that happens. Don't know if we end up there but do know its not the fans fault and is far from incredulous. Bordering on denial at this point to think otherwise.
  8. We'll be 15th by the time we play Brighton with Leeds having Burnley at home before that
  9. Our next game is a write-off, the game after that a traditional write-off, by the time we play Forest a win could very likely put them ahead of us and Leeds have Burnley at home before we play Brighton so could already be ahead by then. Don't get why such things continue to be so implausible to people given all the evidence of this season and the relative form of the teams in question here.
  10. Probably will have to beat them down there to finish above them. Cant make a case for that.
  11. beating their own record from that game they scored three own-goals or something and were locked in
  12. Not if you're managed by the King, even against Arsenal
  13. The new financial rules have meant clubs having to sell after qualifying for it not after missing out - if they're outside the cartel. Its always just been about money. Champions League was just previously a faciliator of that. Less games and more money at Man United is more attractive than CL games and less money.
  14. Bit too Forest and Ian Woany this City score for my liking
  15. The cartel. Locked out big ambitious clubs. Also rans and the clubs married to yo-yo-ing All stuck on average to where they were when the music stopped forever and fans paying ever rising ticket prices for the privilege under the illusion its needed to maintain status or go to the next level. Its the perfect scam.
  16. It'll take the edge off being relegated to league one two seasons later after consecutive 50points deduction punishments for competing errr I mean financial irregularities in accordance with new rules brought in to protect clubs like Sheffield Wednesday and Bury from doing a Chelsea or Man City err I mean Leeds
  17. Blagged a few months of being a Premier League manager by covering his ineptitutde with stupid gimmickery and glasses he probably doesn't even need.
  18. I always thought getting relegated was bad for clubs finances but as were actively forcibly relegating clubs to protect them it musn't be.
  19. Chelsea have Spurs still to play, penultimate game Hope he's gone by then.
  20. Cant even treat the Leicester back to back relegations and fall from grace as a sporting thing with all points deductions and bullshit rules that caused them
  21. Brighton at home looking like it'll be as fun as ever
  22. Its only currently their joint best ever season and potentially best ever season though, still a bit brisk out at nights for them
