Its like the Gazza/Vinnie Jones incident. Except at a worse level of football and involving players many times worse with many times worse careers than Vinnie Jones

Aye, had the standard close but no cigar moments now as well as being the better team. Classic defeat to pointless club stuff. -

Been the better team like, which just rubs it in really -
Champions League push. As big as us and Villa. As big as Forest is an arguement. Their fanbase can sustain Premier League football - despite all evidence to the contrary on the field and in gate receipts. Don't think I've seen as much delusion in a paragraph.

You've got to legislate for losing away games but its the unexpected ones or the freak one against the run of play that feel like its costs you. -
You can set your watch by them turning on their managers. Rumblings after half a season. Beginning to turn in the final third. This guy is playoffs away from the one way traffic of inevitable untenable bile aimed at him or being their best manager since the legendary halcyon days of Keanes season and half of relegation battles in the PL. Toxic wankers.
-
Its practically that super league they wanted - minus the potential gate crashers Don't see a reason why it wont continue.

Had a feeling this round of fixtures had some points dropping in it. Just feels like the slighest of edging closer that resullt, 3 less points to play for for them. Still think winning at Brighton is a big ask. Would probably take parity for this weekend personally. Cant make much of a case for Forest getting any more than a point at Palace after. -
The club wouldn't take that trophy over CL in a million years
-
Will have to have some research done into which of them missing out on the CL f*cks up the most and that'll be the one I'd like to see lose. I say 'see' - there's not a cat in hells chance I'm watching that shite final
-
Worst possible advert for this competition. Neither Man U or Spurs even remotely care about winning the trophy just getting the CL quali. Two super wealthy clubs compared to everyone else in it with shite teams in their own league duking it out in the final. And all so predictable.

Think the buzz (remember the 'Keanno effect') makes him their equivalent of the Keegan era but at least SBR. His actual achievements with infinitely more backing were less than Chris Hughton's.
-
Think that's in the same interview but that clip looks like itss from Manchster United's season video so only showing what suits. I'll have that interview on that nights Sportsnight on tape somewhere but cant access it at the moment. The only lying down that happened in that title race was in favour of Man United - Boro we know about and Forest's keeper against them a few days later I remember infuriating me at the time, could have been biased eyes.

About time he court something
-
though in fairness to them they are the only ones I can think of where there's ever any fully justified doubt about selling out a play-off semi final. Well all home semi-finals really. Just take it as a given for anybody else
-
Yeah they want to preserve the pecking order (Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool) from new (and old) challengers, for the good of the game its been said but aren't so bothered about bigger historical clubs you mentioned being overhauled by the Brighton's, Fulham's and Bournemouth's of the world due to none footballing reasons like postcode lotteries and having the misfortune to not be near a Premier League chair when they decided to turn the music off both more unfair than coming into new money. To say nothing of clubs being enabled to rip their fans off to try and deal with these rules.
-
Seen after our match on MOTD they discussed the three relegated teams pitiful showing. PSR is a massive contributer to that but wasn't addressed. Newly promoted teams begin with a worse team, worse squad, less income and less ability to spend than the next worse Premier League team (West Ham, Man United and Spurs) when the one thing that can make up the difference is banned. The one virtue of PSR being that it prevents clubs 'doing a Leeds' it means no club is going to get into a situation where a newly promoted club can overhaul them. Envisage very little fluctuation unless something changes.
-
Wish we had Sir John's sporting club to sell off. Rugby, ice hockey, basketball, petanque teams. But its just daft that clubs that dont need money are having to go on like they need to sell everything not nailed down just to get through another season.
