It pisses me off when people don't give praise for defensive play or frustrating opponents. Yeah, Liverpool attacked from the start, but I'd expect that at home, it's fucking wank when there's a media wankfest over the cunts though, especially when they've had such clear help from the officials again, it's even more galling when you see how much griping and whining Klopp does. Just scum, all of them.

Liverpool, you'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Pikey fucks.

Of all the teams in the league, I hate Liverpool the most. The amount of cheating they do, the amount of whinging their manager does, they're utter scum. Fucking hate them.

They can fuck off with this shit. There was always the worry that peaking too early last season when the squad wasn't ready would lead to this. The long term demotivation and weakening of the mental strength of the team being shredded is now what worries me. To go from the way the players played last season to their current plight is abysmal and at this point in time I'm really not sure who to blame. Injuries are one thing, but we should still be able to work a result against a team like Luton, even if we were using half the youth team!

Maybe a winter break wouldn't be such a bad idea in the UK
-
Offside rule is ridiculous these days, absolutely stupid since they stopped using the daylight between players rule.
-
They'll not give it, that's how 'luck' works when you're already struggling
-
I was wondering this, whether the players are holding back and pulling out of tackles because they don't want to add to our already horrendous injuries, depleting the squad further.

Jesus, could we have lost to a less deserving team of cunts? Dirty throughout (presumably because they knew there was no VAR), though the ref rarely pulled them up on anything anyway. Should be punished for not controlling their fans, though any monetary penalty is pretty pointless. Tripps... ohhhh Tripps... three goals given away recently from silly mistakes, leading to bad results, doubt is starting to creep in over whether he's on that slippery slope of being past it, to think that only takes a couple of games for the confidence to be knocked this badly. I just don't know what else to say about tonight, we should have won against that shower of shit, but somehow managed to lose and lose miserably. ... even the forum's struggling to take it in and is falling over! -
Klopp, Arteta and to some degree Emery - all managers that come across as absolute dirty, scummy fucks in the way they put their teams out, the mentalities they encourage and just the general impression they put out. They're more about winning by any means possible, than professionalism, skill and cultivating a image of true quality while setting an example. I know we all love our own teams and all want to win, but some teams are just devious and underhanded in how they go about it.

Twists and turns aplenty

Oh aye, Asprilla's just scored against Barcelona
-
I've only managed to get a radio stream tbh
-
Just to bring things back to earth, you just know PSG's going to score in their second half right? They'll get a late pen again if it gets to injury time - they have 'connections'.
-
He just finds a player to pick on and then tries to bully the rest of team to not end up like the one he's singled out. Howe has coached some relatively average players into solid starters, as well as instilling some passion and togetherness at the club - the only time I've seen Jose get togetherness in a team is when he developed a siege mentality at Chelski the first time round. I want to see what Eddie can do over at least a 5-6 year period.
-
My mind is honestly boggled by anyone even thinking about having a pop at Eddie - just because we've lost a handful of games this season while being hit by one of the worst volumes of injury to first team players I've seen for a long time, and that's before even thinking about the extra games/travelling from European football being added in. Absolutely insane levels of entitlement from people who's quickly forgotten where we've been for the last 15+ years! Hopefully it's just a daft vocal minority as with most things, just totally bonkers.

Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 Newcastle United (10/12/23)
Armchair Pundit replied to Yorkie's topic in Football
I don't think it's anyone's fault in particular. We hit Europe way before we were actually ready, not enough depth of quality in the squad, then add in the absolutely horrendous injuries - to be honest, we're where I'd expect with everything going on. Of course 3-0 against the scouse mackems and 4-1 against Spurs hurts, but they've managed to catch us at the most opportune moment for them to get something from us. If we didn't have all the injuries and we could rotate the first team we'd have a fighting chance, but we don't, simple as that. -
No idea

What's with these 8:15pm kick offs by the way?

Hmm, which match to watch on Prime this evening...
