I'd still take Paqueta here, for the right price

He'll fit in just right at Liverpool if he does end up there, the work-shy bastard.

Fuck this bunch of victim complex, gypsy-thieving, bin dipping, drug addled, child shooting, work-shy, dey do der don't dey do, shell-suit wanker, perm-hair loving scouse scum and their tapping up, VAR assisted, media darling team! Hope we do them -
I'd like to think nobody puts Yasir Al-Rumayyan in the corner...

... Peter Odemwingie

I'm still of the opinion that Wissa is Wilson's replacement, regardless of need - besides, we need to strikers in to break even for the extra games this season - wasn't it reported somewhere that we won't let the rat go unless we get two strikers in?
-
I imagine, with all the shenanigans involving Isak being wank stain and striking, the club would be even tighter on any new contracts for incoming players.
-
"are confident a deal will be done"?! Not for £130m , you lowball, pikey bellends
-
Would take Toney if we could pry him away from the Saudi league, he's mooching on the money though. Shame really, it'd do him good to be playing for us in a World Cup season, especially with CL on the cards too.

Starting to feel a bit like the Guehi thing all over again

Did I really just read somewhere that Liverpool are considering rivalling us for Wissa, as attacking back-up for them? Surely a joke?
-
I've got it, let's get this guy - Tomoyuki Doi - his new team's only just signed him, but look at his goal/assists for last season, plus he's a bargain at £300k
-
So what we're saying is Wissa is pretty much nailed on, so we want to steer clear of any striker that'll be off to AFCON, I'm thinking Ramos or Samu are the main options, unless we look further a field and take even more of a risk on a proven scorer from a lower league... all as soon as possible, eesh, what a mess.
-
Jackson just looks thick as mince to me, his dodgy temperament and poor judgement could have him out more than in the match day squad.
-
His scoring record doesn't look that good, but I guess it's down to what potential might be seen in him.
-
Not that it'd happen, but can you imagine all the local lads going in with crunching, leg-breakers on every challenge, would be glorious
-
Where's Samu? He's the one we need, a goal scorer, didn't realise Chelsea had tried to sign him from Athletico for £35m prior to him going to Porto. ... not this Sammo btw
-
That's fair, especially with the extra European games this season.
-
I'm still only seeing Wissa as a replacement to Wilson, not a main striker... but at this point, anything would be a bonus.

Financial Fair Play / Profit & Sustainability

Did they? Christ, that'd explain a lot. Still, wouldn't such a waiver be illegal in itself? Or at least extremely dodgy if it came out? A bit like some of these paedo celebs that get their victims to sign non-disclosure whatsits. Thinking about it, how would they back that sort of waiver up? Especially if it's to block challenging wrong-doing or questionable practices. With all the legal stuff around betting, it's close to fixing the outcomes of the league by making some teams have a clear advantage over others... it'd be really dicey ground. -

Absolutely, it's that block on spending to improve an investment that makes me wonder how it can possibly be legal, it wouldn't happen in any other business - and that's before the issues around stopping competitiveness get mentioned! -
Was expecting a loss, with all that's gone on around the team, but they looked good. Just getting back into the swing of things and shaking off the nerves of being dropped in the shit by a greedy, odious, scumbag bastard of a teammate.

I wonder if Elanga feels a bit embarrassed about his countryman's conduct? I hope not, he doesn't need to be, all he needs to do is make sure he never replicates the c*nt's behaviour (score the goals by all means, just not the shit back-stabbing). ... I reckon he'll be alright
