  1. So the continued existence of it whilst the club continue to chase the premier league isn't really an indication of anything at this stage?
  2. Didn't even get to ask him his opinion on the takeover
  3. Which policeman to believe, that's the question.
  4. Red card guaranteed for PSG now.
  5. I always feel with Kennedy that whilst he's clearly positive in his reporting of the takeover, he always creates himself a small cautious angle somewhere that he'll be able to go back to should he need to in the future.
  6. I just don't get the approach at all. After what happened yesterday it's an ideal time to be building pressure. Yet here we are with an ad hoc list of clubs who definitely have it worse than us. Wtf.
  7. Categorically untrue around the time Rafa left. And they are supposed to be what their members want them to be - that's the whole point. One member, one vote.
  8. If you ignore both their results all season and also their recent form.
  9. If they actually ask their members and that's what they want, that's what they should do. If there's not the interest in it they shouldn't. Saying "that's not what we're about" without asking the members doesn't really wash I'm afraid.
  10. Maybe something for NUST to do. But probably a discussion for their own thread really.
  11. I found Jenas' comments interesting (first time for everything) when he was saying he's not a Man United fan so as he's watching from the outside it's not fair for him to pass judgement on what's happened to their club and what they feel they, as fans, need to do about it. That's exactly the sort of attitude that isn't afforded to our fanbase by the media.
  12. That first paragraph is what sums them up for me. They chased members pretending to be a protest group against the background of rafa leaving, but once they've got them they've no real intention of rocking the boat with the club. They did a huge membership survey while back and rather than act on the results of it, the response was "well we've sent it to the club". They simply won't ask the question of their members about any form of serious protest, because they don't want the answer that they'll get. They also used the premier league "meeting" as a membership chase then pretty much shut up shop on the discussion once they'd had it. If anything i think the stuff we saw yesterday (whilst some of it was clearly too much) showed exactly how far behind the Trust are with this sort of thing.
  13. Old Trafford / anfield would've been a complete sell out today at either ground today though if fans were allowed in.
  14. Yeah i just dont think you can have games being called off, when really the club have a duty to keep those fans outside. I get the point about it being better to punish the owners but I'm not sure what you're punishing them for under the rules? Other than being bad for football obviously.
  15. Strange situation. Fair play to the Man United fans, but also think the club absolutely have to be punished for it with points taken off and the forfeit of the game. Even though forfeiting the game assists liverpool as well.

Unless we have a fee agreed in the loan deal (no chance anyone is that bright) then I can't see Ashley paying what they'll want for him.
  17. I reckon if its a dead rubber final day we'll get a hiding.
  18. Apparently only half a dozen or so of their players aren't out of contract in the summer too.
  19. Based solely on footballing ability i think he's probably good enough for most of them now, but clubs look at more than that. He's a "wrong sort of headlines" player, and i'm not sure he's a good enough player to justify a high profile club taking a risk.
  20. I don't think any of them will take a "chance" on Grealish....
  21. Seems to point to the manager having been the overall cause of the majority of the problems.
