  1. Bournemouth at home we created nothing and we're really lucky to get a pen at 1-0 down. They weren't brilliant but they hit us on the break a few times. Away we were really poor and were fortunate to get a point I thought. Come to think of it Wolves (Pope non-pen) and Fulham (Mitrovich double pen hit) at home were very fortunate as well.
  2. Bournemouth home and away, but that's it I think.
  3. Not even sure what his angle is here. What does sounding like a completely clueless idiot do for his cause?
  4. Villa 2-1 Forest Brighton 1-0 Everton Palace 2-1 Burnley Man United 2-1 Fulham Bournemouth 1-3 Man City Arsenal 3-1 Newcastle Wolves 2-0 Sheff United West Ham 1-1 Brentford
  5. Someone at Man United being arrogant, entitled and smarmy eh? I can't believe it. Going on like bending over and giving a competitor what they want from you is what the grown ups in competitive sport do From the club that asked for £5m to loan Jesse Lingard no less. Get fucked ye pile of melting Terry Christians.
  6. Was always the right decision regardless of what happened though
  7. Obviously wasn't one of ours, but I still have PTSD from the Carlos Tevez transfer saga and the coverage it got on SSN at the time.
  8. What authority does this lad on Twitter have like? Good record of getting things right?
  9. Think it's won 11 lost 10 this season mate
  10. It should come as no surprise to you that the Uni doesn't have an alumni profile for him You'd think he'd at least be on one of those flags on campus considering who's already on there.
  11. I'm fully on board the Phil Giles train now. Seems like the perfect person to come in for where we are at the moment.
  12. Darren Eales, Newcastle United CEO, said: "We are naturally disappointed that Dan has chosen to leave, however our exciting journey doesn't stop and the process to recruit a new sporting director will begin immediately. "We thank Dan for his efforts at Newcastle United and we wish him and his family well for the future."
  13. There wasn't even that much pressure on Mowbray when they sacked him for this absolute chancer was there?
  14. For anyone younger the teams are basically reversed in this scenario, minus the relegation.
  15. He absolutely was like. He's constantly credited as being the mastermind behind England's upturn in recent years, then the mastermind behind the success of Brighton and especially their transfer dealings. In the media, among pundits, among journalists.
  16. Just looking now on his LinkedIn and he did the MMathStat, which is an undergraduate degree that turns into a postgraduate degree after a couple of years. He got a 1st, which is seriously good going and (at least these days) not that common because it's very difficult to do that well at UG level then keep it up into PG level. He then went straight into a Stats PhD. Obviously the work he's done after finishing his PhD speaks for itself, but academically he looks really impressive too.
  17. I know. I think we've gone through this before
  18. They're the pits. The worst of the worst.
  19. It's incredibly poor from someone in that senior a position. We knew what we were getting into with him doing the same to Brighton though, he wasn't there that long, and it seems evident now that their success wasn't as down to him as we were lead to believe.
  20. Decent record and good forward planning as far as I can tell. Brentford are the main moneyball club in the league AFAIK.
  21. The irony I really hope we stick to this and don't cave in on the amount like. It's absolutely right that they should have to pay up and £20m is reasonable.
