That's why football's amazing. The chaos. No-one expected that. We were really good and you could tell from the start that something felt different. Hung on a slight amount but in hindsight it'll probably look a lot more comfortable than it felt in that ridiculous 9 minutes of extra time. Dubravka: 7.5 Trippier: 8 Schär: 10 Botman: 7.5 Burn: 7.5 Longstaff: 7 Bruno: 8 Miley: 7 Murphy: 7.5 Isak: 7 Gordon: 8 Almiron: 7.5 Livramento: 7.5

Give over man Wilson definitely though.

This fucking season man.

This half is largely what I've seen when I've watched Villa this season defensively. It's Emery and they're good so I'm fully expecting them to fight back strong in the 2nd half and honestly wouldn't feel comfortable unless it was like 4 nil, but we've played to their high line weaknesses really well and really should have a couple more.

You said under Pardew, 2014 was all Pardew, so you would if the question is whether it was ever this bad under Pardew. I mean tbf, I really hope you're just being tongue in cheek about it anyway. -

In 2014 (calendar year) we won away 4 times. In fact, until a flukey streak in November we only won twice away and only won 5 times in total. In a full year of football. -
My head is spinning. Didn't you want them mic'd up? We've had long, exciting arguments about this.

I suggest you look at our record home and away in 2014 again -

I really cannot be arsed with this match like. -
Yes! Now we can sell him for a decent amount and fund buying a homegrown player from another club who themselves have to sell to fund buying a homegrown player from another club.

As per the Schär song, every needs a Joelinton. You get a creative mid in addition to him, not by losing him.
-
Watching the highlights Howie sounds like a natural on co-comms tbh. Big fan of Anderson when we're good though so wouldn't be looking to replace him.

No need to repeat the same posts again. Suffice to say I wasn't posting about curiosity/asking questions/speculation and I said that in those posts themselves.
-
If Man United had paid the 40 odd million they were originally quoted for Anthony they'd still have drastically overpaid, he's absolutely shite.

Also, none of the speculation seems to be around whether a 19 year old defender just isn't ready to give what's expected of him yet. It's all about whether Howe fancies him, triggering transfers, why we paid so much, FFP, how it's a weird transfer etc.
-
It just means the people who are coming out with the same assertions they had about Gordon and were completely wrong, have no humility and seemingly haven't learned anything about what a player not playing or performing under Howe might mean beyond "Howe doesn't rate the him" - the player we'll have scouted extensively and he agreed we should spend £30m+ on. Read the last few pages back yourself, it's not at all the speculation I'm on about like, it's the jumping to conclusions about what him not playing means, to me it's just daft.
-
You're talking about speculation, I'm talking about confident assertions basically. I do find it odd that people are so sure of themselves in the same way again having got it wrong in the same way just recently, aye. At this stage no one knows, so this stuff about us "obviously not fancying him" (just one of many similar posts) is daft, especially having seen Gordon's journey and knowing how Eddie only plays players when he knows they can be trusted.
