It was widely reported in the Athletic, Times, Mail, Chronicle, Sky Sports that he was annoyed about Nick Pope getting the number 1 spot ahead of him and had no intention of fighting for the spot...then he went to Man United to be their 2nd, possibly 3rd choice 'keeper. And then the same thing happened this season when Pope got the number 1 spot for the final and his wife was posting about "life not being fair" Pretty standard definition of a player spitting their dummy out.

Luke Edwards really is uncanny with this stuff like. Must be into double figures now where I've seen him tweet something then immediately be wrong.
-
You're making the point here really, it wasn't his new club, he was a Newcastle player who spat his dummy out, and went on loan to a rival with no obligation to buy, and then immediately started acting like he was a full on Man United player and fan. It was a weird way to go on at the time for a player who was probably coming back.

US foreign regime change knows no bounds. Funny if you're a cunt though I suppose.

I love how wrong this is. Don't hate him, just thought it was weird at the time. Wasn't because of his comments, it was mainly because of the way he went all in with Man United despite only being on loan - posting himself watching them that night, in a Man United top ffs I don't want him to suck me off, I'd prefer it if he left. Two wrongs don't make a right? nnnmmmactually I think you'll find that if you live by the sword you die by the sword.

There'll be a 30 side powerpoint giving the rationale for that. "the black represents the all-consuming black pit of misery our fans endure' or something.

Was certain I had it with Gazza Barry. Argh!
-
Thought I had it with Carrick, but that was 2001.

Fans. Don't think it was a minority thing either really, would guess it was a 50/50 thing.

Entering a competition soon with some Newcastle kit designs I've done. Totally get that there'll be people who think this design is shite, but just as a disclaimer, the idea with this one is to do something a bit out there and original. My question to you is this, can you tell from looking at this what Newcastle-associated thing influenced the design/colour scheme (jokes aside). That's all I'm asking. Trying to work out whether it's obvious or I'm reaching a bit.

Whether you think he should have or not is obviously a different story, but he did annoy people with the way he went on at the time, there's no two ways about that.
-
Him leaving to get game time isn't what was weird and I think everyone knows that like.
-
Nah, the people still talking about it now should tbh. Football is all about petty grievances around tribal lines. If a player ruffles feathers then fans should care rather than not. Down with this 'I don't care about anything because I'm just a chilled out dude' craic that comes predominantly from across the Atlantic and in reality just ends up with nothing being sacred and everything being sanitised and boring. Give me Dubravka's head.

It's not about truth though, it's about keeping the N-O pigs (us) happy.
-
It wasn't faux at all. A lot of people thought the way he acted about it all at the time was weird, and it was.

Incredible lack of effort there
