Swings and roundabouts this season though innit. When we won 9 in a row Fulham won 2 in 10 and dropped to 10th. Bournemouth had a bad run from September to November and dropped to 13th. Forest are the only team that's been relatively consistent all season and weirdly they're the ones everyone's tipping to be the team that fall off.

The rationale seems to be there were no big clutch matches along the road to Europe and those 2 Cup finals (or escaping relegation for that matter), only the ones in Europe and finals count.

Would also mean that every other inconsistent team around us hits form as well. It's not even beyond us to not hit form until after the final and still get there.

Very hard to know to what extent the game plan was the issue because the players just didn't turn up. Maybe he should have mitigated for that happening, I don't know.
