I get that like, just don't see it considering their history. Case in point, my grandad was a Scouser who lived in Bootle. Some of his kids from his first marriage support Liverpool some support Everton. No difference in passion or bitterness or whatever, just fans like most of us are. As a system I don't think I'd look much further than Borussia Dortmund around 2011-13. Fantastic to watch. Kloppball basically, just with the ideal combination of players from his Dortmund and Liverpool teams. The counter press, the attacking full backs, and the quick transitions. Maybe that mixed with some utopian total football, little triangles of passing and position swapping as well.

Can only assume that Fernandez doesn't train as he'd play matches or something, because that one is definitely a head scratcher. Hopefully he can see what we all see, that Lewis, Schar, and Fernandez give us much more of a fighting chance at the back.

Positives: Howe's been forced into not playing players who are liabilities - Ritchie, Lascelles, and Clark - and will hopefully continue to play Lewis, Schar, and Fernandez instead. Negatives: Everything else. Even with a man advantage, Norwich were absolute dog shit and although we would have crawled to the win, we could and probably should have. I'm not really one for saying you must beat team X to stay up because points are often lost and gained unexpectedly, but it's not looking good at the moment.
