  1. Thiago might be my favourite player in the league now. Absolutely love watching him just casually knocking it about, the effortless through balls, his silky dribbling style, everything. Class player to watch.
  2. Kid Icarus

    Joe Willock

Feel like he's not playing all that well but that it seems more like it just needs to click for him rather than the quality not being there.
  3. I didn't know there was ever a debate over it tbh. HBA was by far the better, more naturally talented player, but that's not really a criticism of ASM.
  4. I always fancy us against Man United at home
  5. Kid Icarus

    Joelinton

Exemplifies everything Howe seems to be looking for from everyone. Honestly plays like a silky DM that's just in a different position.
  6. Rolling back the years with this post: Dubravka - 6 Manquillo - 5 Schar - 5 Lascelles - 7 Lewis - 7 Shelvey - 6 Willock - 5 Almiron - 6 Saint-Maximin - 7 Joelinton - 7.5 Wilson - 7
  7. I think we can all be fairly confident that at least another goal's going to be needed.
  8. It was a great finish but I think he's only been okay overall otherwise. Agree that he can get more with better service though
  9. Joelinton and ASM looking like the only PL players on the pitch tbh.
  10. Imo this is a weird case of him being a good shit poster who people think is being serious, and him coming across as weird enough to do something like that seriously so it being understandable that people would think he's being serious.
  11. Could see it. Tbf until the whole Jiminez Modric thing, Shepherd ignoring SBR to go for Nicky fucking Butt instead of Carrick, who apparently desperately wanted to come was the most brain-dead thing I could imagine Newcastle doing.
  12. Calling out Carragher for what though? The point he made was baby-brained
  13. I hope I never get sick of Ally McCoist
  14. Weirdly, Shola's best form for us by a mile was that Roeder end of the season when he was playing with a fucked hip
  15. Doesn't exactly scream richest club in the world does it.
  16. IIRC that was literally just Barthez stopping to call for offside when he wasn't and the game was still going on. The mad bastard.
  17. Come on man A defender pulling up injured while chasing back and a keeper getting floored trying to stop a goal vs a 'keeper already down injured and the opposition knocking it in while they're on the floor. The descriptions are enough. I don't blame Arsenal though, it's a case of the boy who cried wolf where the modern game's concerned, years ago it might have been a given that De Gea was injured, but now there's every reason to assume the opposite.
  18. Those are nowhere near like for like comparisons.
  19. What and bank on the opposition believing them to the point of deliberately scoring an own goal? Aye right Flawless logic.
  20. Kind of feel like the sporting thing there might have been to give a goal back like. Not because Arsenal did anything wrong but just in the spirit of the way I like seeing the game played more than anything. Probably the sort of thing that would be done years ago that's now just a 'fair enough' though.
