Burnley vs. Newcastle United: 22/05/22 @ 4pm (No UK TV)

I'd never underestimate the levels that teams are capable of when they're fighting for their lives like. I fully expect a professional performance from us, but Burnley aren't that bad at all when they try and play. -
Yeah any match recently and you'd think it would win or be joint 1st considering there's a point in it.
-
Never liked Mick Lowes. Even in the very limited experience I have of him, he seemed like a massive prick. Propping up the bar in Shearer's, calling the Ashley Out campaign pathetic, then refusing to get up and go to his taxi until it parked on the nearest side of the road.
-
Mbappe's now overrated by default because of all this nonsense like. Wonderful player, but Jesus wept.
-
Yeah, pretty much everything except black, brown, grey, white, or yellow/gold would work I reckon
-
Almost certainly not going to happen, so it's one or the other really. Or pick another bright colour.
-
Who really ever predicts either of those teams losses?
-
The fact we still have stripes all the way down is a good indication we'll still have red numbers imo. If you're going to have stripes you need a bright colour to offset it and make it readable. Would hate to see us go back to having a square patch on the back to accommodate white numbering, especially when (imo) the red looks great.

Wonder if there's some sort of loophole that can be used when you don't have a sponsor? Total guesswork like
-
Don't want to sign him because of all the absolutely shan patter it'll provoke

Probably worth factoring streams in as well. Don't know the figures, but generally speaking if people want to watch the 3pm kick offs they will -
It's because I'm perservering to try and make the first post happen.

With Newcastle it's about that whole feeling part of something thing, which tbh I don't have yet, but in general I love football because of the enjoyment that I get from the game at its base level - high quality football where there's something to play for. For all its pagentry and concentration of power and wealth, the Champions League still has that in abundance. Likewise the PL has it with the title race, top 4, and relegation battle. It's funny because Pre-Southgate I'd rather Newcastle have won a throw than England won the World Cup, totally different now and the playing side of international tournaments feels like the aspect of football that's least tainted by the stink of capitalism and have become some of the most fun to watch as a result. -
What's the most anyone's watched this? I've just finished my 3rd watch. We were much better than it felt at the time and the commentary was even worse and Arsenal-centric than it felt at the time too.

I'd have both on. Still remember watching Aguero's goal go in while we were playing absolutely shite at Goodison Park. -
I don't remember us being awful in that one. I remember us letting them have possession, pressing them when it went into their wingers and then hitting them pretty clinically on the break.
-
Who cares man
-
Giveover man our fans invaded the pitch over a pre-season Sammy Ameobi goal. Can't stand celebration gatekeeping, it just comes across as Karen behaviour.
-
Pat Vieira kicking some little scrote up the arse
-
That's what I want to see. Had forgotten his contact was only 2.5 years
-
That looks like a DHGate rush job to me
-
That can't be true man
-
Nah they're having a mint time. Imagine on Monday we'd needed to beat Arsenal to stay up and did so after being 2 down, we'd be euphoric
-
See I'm thinking this too, but I also can't get past us being a really tough match for Burnley and thinking back to that Leeds Wolves match where they went ballistic.
