  1. Flicking between matches I've managed to miss every goal. It's a talent.
  2. I don't ever want that to be a pen tbh. Mcmanamanamanaman's absolutely right. He definitely would be calling for it if it was on Salah though.
  3. I don't enjoy it as much now, but there were a couple of years when Godin was at his peak that their defending was genuinely entertaining imo.
  4. Well he might have reconsidered it in the 9 years since that was tweeted like.
  5. Starting to think one more win will be enough
  6. Think they're very similar things to say like, canny mild criticism. Didn't say it myself like, I think Howe's class and I'm happy that he can see where we went wrong.
  7. Well would you look at that. Admitting that we played in a way that you can't against Spurs and were too expansive. Fair play Eddie.
  8. What a drip I literally love Howe, have said that he's set us up in ways that I haven't understood until it's worked. We set up in a way that plays to Spurs'strengths, we lose 5-1 and wonder what Howe's intention was and people can't even handle that let alone actual criticism. Absolute bairn craic.
  9. It's about as mild as it gets mate. If you can't even acknowledge that losing 5-1 might suggest that something about our plan went awry, that's not my problem.
  10. Well this is exactly it. If I'm going to laugh my tits off at Lampard's tactical naivety in a 5-0 loss to Spurs, I can't suddenly think it's alright when Howe employs very similar tactics and we lose 5-1.
  11. He beat Conte's 352 at Chelsea 3-0 by matching up the formation as well, I just don't get it.
  12. 11-12 when we 'let our hair down' under Pardew
  13. Spurs tore Man City apart when they played a high line and pressed them, I don't think this is on the players. I'm not even really criticising Howe, I think he's great and has set us up in ways I didn't understand that worked. I'm just baffled by today and would love to know what he was attempting.
  14. Eddie, what ye deein? That was the exact opposite of how I expected us to set up. The one team where you need to sit back, play on the counter and whatever you do, don't leave space in behind. Dan Burn and Fabian Schar on the half way line. Would love to know what the successful version of today's tactics looked like, because I can't even imagine them.
  15. Find it difficult to put much blame on the players here. I love Howe but the tactics have been so suicidally bad today that they overwhelm any criticism I can really put elsewhere. I actually can't believe how he's had us set up here, as bad as how Lampard had Everton set up, and that's saying something.
  16. Burn should be off, he's lost his marbles here
  17. Why are we still pressing high, man. Fucking hell
  18. It's baffling, just willfully playing to the one thing Spurs are absolutely class at.
  19. Has a Burn sending off written all over it now as well.
  20. First time under Howe I've watched us and wondered what the fuck we're playing at. Completely played into their strength and continue to do so. Damage limitation time now.
  21. Why are we trying to play a press and possession game against spurs ffs? Playing right into their strength (counter attacking) Every time I've seen Spurs struggle it's when teams play in a low block and then counter them
  22. Only half joking about getting on to Ash Willerton to design something like @HeronHe's a Newcastle fan so he might be up for it. Those designs above suggests he could do something in the miner's Union flag style. It's his job though, so you might have to factor in paying him.

    Sunderland

It's funny because every single one of RTG to a man and woman will watch it. Those that are raging themselves into early heart attacks over our ownership, with fantastical statements of how they'd protest or turn their backs on Sunderland if it had happened to them, will then do absolutely no self reflection on why they weren't even willing to boycott one world cup. Then they'll go right back to thinking that we won't walk away from Newcastle or protest against the owners because we're uniquely, genetically evil.
  24. Would be up there with Kirby Chambliss as the most American name I've ever heard
