The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
Kid Icarus replied to Rich's topic in Football
Nice to see that you believe it's possible now. -
And no reason to complain about it either. I turned it on after 20 minutes, from my perspective Ipswich were on an even keel with Fulham. Now I can see that it was largely against the run of play. Or if I'm a Fulham fan and conceding against the run of play becomes a pattern, it's easier to notice and then talk about it on Fulham-Online. There are tons of uses for it.
-
Just as with all the other stat based stuff people complain about, it's just not that big a deal. There are loads of ways they're useful for the people who use them.
-
This place is turning into Boomer-Online like.
-
Very good by Ipswich. They have the quality to stay up imo.
-
Ref giving it or not is irrelevant really considering they get things wrong. As it hits Burn he's moved his arm into a natural position and imo it doesn't hit the 'handball zone' anyway.
-
Still not handball though is it.
-
Sleeve is not handball.
-
He seems like a proper "beatings will continue until morale improves" type doesn't he?
-
If he's anything like what he was in the U21 Euros he'll be incredible. A pen specialist as well apparently.
-
Thought the coverage was fine. They basically agreed with the decision (which shouldn't even be contentious), mentioned the Gordon non-pen, bigged up our midfield and although they didn't show Gordon’s miss they included it in the post match analysis
-
The gaslighting is unreal like. That's never been handball in the Premier League. "We were outstanding" - booed off at half time and full time. For all the possession in the 2nd half they didn't really test us. "We had literally 11 players available in training" - yet somehow still subbed off their best player on the day to another chorus of boos. Pull the other one man.
-
Close. Second only to himself when we played Liverpool.
-
Thought Burn was the clear MOTM, but Tino had a very good game too.
-
Says everything that both sets of fans thought he was shite and both are right.
-
As nervy as it was Spurs created nothing and what little they did create was quashed.
-
Brilliant yet again.
-
We made hard work of it and looked knackered, but definitely deserved on the chances we had. Felt like an off day despite the win, but they also offered nothing really, largely thanks to our backline. Hope we can get some energy back soon. Dubravka: 8 Livramento: 8 Botman: 8 Burn: 9 Hall: 7.5 Bruno: 7 Tonali: 7 Joelinton: 6 Gordon: 7.5 Isak: 7.5 Murphy: 7.5
-
Looked our worst player for a few minutes then really turned it on and was one of our best.
-
Things will change when they bring on Maddison and Son and I'd fancy them to score another regardless, so hopefully we can get another couple and don't rue those missed opportunities. Probably just my own paranoia but it's a game that doesn't have a good feel about it for me.

Christ, you look exactly like a lad I went to school with. You're not from Killingworth are you?
-
Ibe had some serious MH problems from the sound of it. Can't be helped and basically discounts him in terms of rating him as a footballer imo. You only need to look at Dele Ali to see how steep that fall can be without losing an iota of talent.

This is all perfectly set up for a football is chaos outcome like. Early kick off unpredictability as well.
