Think nigh on the exact opposite to Rod. Cynical PR aside what he did for the free school meals was brilliant. As a footballer I think he's a complete joke at this point and extremely unlikeable for a number of reasons.

As a fanbase we should be only slightly behind Man United's in understanding how disgustingly influential he was. No Cantona or Schmeichel in 95/96 and we win the league at a canter.

Ronaldo was at the very start of the wingers as forwards era so I suppose it's fine, but having forwards, wing forwards and out-and-out strikers together feels a bit forced and pointless tbh. Cantona, Salah, Bale and Shearer don't really belong together on any list that's supposed to make any sense.

Ginola was more or less equally brilliant with both feet as well. Agree Cazorla is the best I've seen with both feet.

Just on Martins's speed. He could have been as fast or as slow as he liked, he was pretty much useless at using it to his advantage. Can't really remember him ever using it in the same way someone like Bale, Walcott, Traore did. Loved him at the time for a bit but he was a strange player like.
