  1. Yeah, it does look like the game plan is basically "this lot are shite" which is absolutely fair enough.
  2. Reading this back it sounds like our usual then? Tons of chances missed, then the slightly lesser seen, still put one away.
  3. Haven't seen a second of this yet. It seems a lot of other people haven't either
  4. By losing Ashworth you've not lost what you thought you were gaining when he arrived imo. As we said at the time (just getting that in there) he's basically a facilitator. He seems to be very good at that, but the stuff that still gets attributed to him (scouting and signings mainly) is well wide of the mark. When he came here the Brighton forums were saying that, then not long after we were saying exactly the same.
  5. Obviously not as reputable as us 💅
  6. Arsenal 2-0 Everton Liverpool 3-1 Fulham Newcastle 1-1 Leicester Wolves 2-1 Ipswich Forest 2-2 Villa Brighton 2-2 Palace Man City 4-1 Man United Chelsea 3-1 Brentford Southampton 1-3 Spurs Bournemouth 2-0 West Ham
  7. Not a fan of the Saudis to say the least, don't want us to be owned by them, and think the comparison between their ownership of us and the private capital ownership of other clubs was apples and oranges, but, I do very much think that in this case which is much more like-for-like, the reaction to it has a huge tinge of double standards and Western exceptionalism to it tbh. It's one degree of separation and a foreign policy vs a domestic policy of difference.
  8. Lock up your daughters
  9. All taken into account when both sides sign the contract innit.
  10. Do you think 'making the media be nicer to us' was the end goal in itself, or do you think it might have been a strategic move as part of a bigger goal to change the narrative and increase pressure on Ashley? Ashley Out was an N-O organised campaign, so most people on here know exactly why certain moves were made like.
  11. Not sure how you've worked that one out mind. Even including technically relegated teams as PL teams (you originally said PL players rather than British based) it's 12 out of 21, which is 57%.
  12. Least surprising update ever like. Must be at the point of needing to retire soon.
  13. And Howe. And Rafa. And Hughton. And Keegan.
  14. I like it Edit: Counts towards the 3 people per club rule. I don't like it.
  15. Scenes when we sign him and it turns out Eddie Howe knows what he's doing.
  16. It's the gossy accent. My lass has it. It's mental. Lowdsa cowts for loads of coats. Stowk for Stoke etc.
  17. Yeah Nunes is a transfer to a good team away from making it into the Industry Plant XI.
  18. Canny mental how much Gary O'Neil looked exactly like the thousand yard stare bloke there.
  19. No, I know, I got that. Not that it's just specifically what I think like. Whatever opinions and reasons for them is obviously fair enough like. I'm sure there are a lot of tragic stories to tell on here (myself included) where drugs are concerned, but ye nah, scum of the earth? Probably a pretty natural reaction to someone getting that hoyed at them.
  20. Wouldnt expect you to, but you obviously cared enough to call someone scum of the earth, make your point and then defend it like, so you do care to that (extremely far) extent.
  21. Thanks for clarifying, but yeah that's the same as what I thought you were saying from the start and I can't speak for anyone else, but changes nothing about the reaction to it as a completely mental position for me.
  22. When my daughter starts using the internet and googling stuff, her seeing one specific referee doing coke is probably the least of my worries as a parent like.
